Part 1: "The Greek Heritage"
Chapter 1: "The stablishment and the eastern expansion"
- The Founding of Athenai
The Greek people have long been inhabiting the land known as Itaca, but after years of nomadism they have been united. The chief of a tribal village of north Itaca, named Alexander, inspired by tales of a great southern civilization, has took the initiative and started the unification of the Greek peoples to take them to the greatest future they have never imagined before. After the peaceful unification of Itaca, Alexander proposed to create a great city there. Whit much aceptance, the tribal villages united to creat a great city where they´ll all live in. The name was Athenai.
There Alexander was chosen as a supreme leader of the Greek peoples, and started to be known as Alexander I. Alexander I´s reign was centered on Athenai. Works to improve the landscape were started. But the main focus of Athenai in Alexander I´s was the sea, a lighthouse was beign built and the fish were proving to be a quite good foodsupply to the people. But, Alexander I wanted to forge a great empire so, led by ambition, he send his elite soldiers, called Phalanx, to "scout" the eastern region.

The city of Athenai

- The Conquest of the East
In Alexander III´s reign the Phalanxs regiment that his grandfather sent to the east, discovered a pasage to Anatolia. After the rumours of the aproaching Phalanxs of a great nation, a group of warriors of an anatolian tribecontacted Alexander III and offered him their help to conquer Anatolia, and the only payment was that their tribe was accepted as Greek citizens, Alexander III acepted and ordered them attack a tribal village of anatolia.

The warriors that joined Greece

The warriors made an incredible fight, the warriors that defended the village, even whit the advantage of beign in a hill couldn´t made it against Alexander III´s new warriors. After the fight the Alexander III´s warriors had almost no losses and their strenght was like they never fought. They pillaged the village and found a map, that map showd that in the east there was another nation, called the Hittites. After knowing this, Alexander ordered his warriors to go and conquer the Hittites.
During the reigns of Alexander V and Alexander VI, the Anatolian warriors (the former Alexander III´s warriors) found the capital of the Hittites, the city of Hattusas and attacked it. Even fighting whit a great disadvantage, the Anatolian warriors proved again that deserve to be included in the empire defeating whit almost no losses two regiments of Hittite warriors that were defending Hattusas. After the conquest of Hattusas, Alexander VI was so
happy whit the victory that choose the leader of the Anatolian warriors to be in charge of the administration of the new Greek city of Hattusas.

The warriors fighting against the Hittites

Another mayor event happened during the reign of Alexander V, the legends of a great civilization in the southwas proven. Hatshepsut the Pharao of Egypt contacted Alexander V. She was impresed whit the growth of the Greek
people in the last year. As a sign of friendship, an Open Borders treaty was signed, trade between the Greek nation and the Egyptian civilization started to grow.

Hatshepsut dealing the Open Borders treaty

During Alexander VIII´s reign, the mighty Phalanxs regiments reached the outskirts Hattusas, there they were ordered to continue the Greek conquest in the south, starting by conquering the jewish city of Sur.
In Alexander XI´s reign, the Phalanxs regiments reached and attacked Sur it was easly conquered and a governor wasinstalled to administrate it. The Phalanxs were ordered to continue south, to destroy the Jewish holy city of
Yerushalahim, to show what will happen to the Jews if decide to revolt against the Greek rule.

The Phalanxs fighting in Sur

In the reign of Alexander XIII, the Phalanxs regiment reached and started the seige of Yerushalahim. In Alexander XIV´s reign Yerushalahim was razed. The conquest the eastern coast of the mediterranean sea had ended. In the next years, the focus was the improvement of the empire, a great road that unite Athenai whit Hattusas started to be build.

Greece by the end of the eastern coast´s conquest

- The Egyptian Campaign
After the end of the eastern coast´s conquest, peace reigned, but not for very much time. Begining whit AlexanderXVIII, the supreme leaders of Greece, started to plan a campaign to conquer Egypt, two Phalanxs regiments that were stationed in the city of Tyros (Old Sur), were ordered to move to the egyptian border. In Alexander XXI´s reign war was declared, the Phalanxs regiments moved to the outskirts of Dejanet. In the reign of Alexander XXII, the siege of Dejanet started, but another mayor event happened, the city of Salona was founded in the coast of the Ionian sea also, copper was found in the newly founded city, so now the weaponry of the Phalanxs could be finally be made.

The city of Salona

Finnaly, in Alexander XXIII´s reign, Djanet was conquered, also a village north of salona was conquered by a newly created Phalanxs regiment, and from it the Greeks learned how to train archer regiments.

The city of Tanis, old Djanet

During Alexander XXIV´s reign, a new nation conquered the barbarian nation of Babylon, there called themselves the Persians. Alexander XXIV saw them as a thread, they were expanding too fast, if they decide to attack, the east coast could be in danger, aniway, nothing could be made, the Greeks were in war against the Egyptians and couldn´t afford a war against persians too.

The meeting whit the persians

During Alexander XXV´s reign, a new thread appeared in the west, a new nation, known as the Romans, has been born. Alexander XXV didn´t give them much importance anyway, he was preocupied by a religious matter. A jewish citizen of Salona, known as Jesus Christ, was crucified. The small jewish community there claims that he was the mesiah and that whit his crucificcion he saved us from the original sin. Alexander XXV´s mother converted to this new religion, called "Christianism", and starting to press Alexander to convert himself as well. Alexander XXV as all his ancesters where believers of the greek polytheism and didn´t want to change his mind. So his Mother organized a coup whit some Christian leaders of Salona, to overthrow him and put his younger brother Pericles (A Christian Believer, converted by his mother´s presure) instead. The coup succeded, Alexander XXV was killed, and Pericles asumed, but he wasn´t enough of a leader so a long period of anarchy came after the coup him. Was in this anarchy that one of the phalanxs regiments in egypt, tried to take the egyptian capital and failed. So when the anarchy ended whit the reign of Alexander Pericles III the Christian (Alexander became a title of the ruler), peace whit Egypt was signed.

The meeting whit the romans

The founding of Christianity

Peace beign signed whit Hatshepsut

- The Cultural Expansion
Whit the new state religion (Christianism) and a organized religion Greece started to focus in spreading their culture and religion through the world. Rome converted to christianism too, but this didn´t made the relations better.
Just after signed peace whit Egypt, Rome declared war. But because Rome didn´t mobilize their army, no one cared too much about the war.
But another anarchy succeded the reign of Alexander VIII. Philip, the son of Alexander VIII, wanted to change the selection system of the ruler, he disliked to have to be selected between the elders, so he made a coup, he overthrow his father and put a Hereditary Rule, system, so his family would reign forever (All the other leaders weren´t of the same family, ther choose the name of Alexander) and adopted slavery. A short period of anarchy followed.
A new city was founded, the city of Byzantion, to act as a bridge betweern eastern Greece and western Greece. Alsothe Oracle of Hattusas was built. The Culture expanded trough the kingdom as well as the religious beliefs.

The Oracle of Hattusas

When Alexander III´s reign (Another line of Alexanders, Alexander I was Philip) ended, two galleys full of praetorians departed from Rome. Western Greece, didn´t have much defenses, (three regiments of Phalanxs, there were three regiments of Pretorians and a regiment of warriors in the galleys) even if the defenses where gathered, the cities will be unprotected.

The Roman Army

Nice start. Me likey.

Chapter 2: "The decline of warfare"
- Between Roman and Persians
During Alexander IV´s reign, the defenses of western greece were organized, all the phalanxs regiments moved to Athenai, the closer city to the roman galleys. Alexander IV was right, the Roman Attack was in Athenai, the strugle lasted through the reigns of Alexander IV, V and VI, the peloponessus was totally pillaged. But whit the victory against the roman pretorians in Athenai, marked the beggining and the end of the War Against Rome. Some Years after the battle, peace was signed. Greece once again has proven its supremacy.

The Battle for Athenai

Also During the reign of Alexander V, Cyrus, the Persian leader came to offer the city of Nineveh as a sign of their respect.

Cyrus offering Nineveh

But nor Peace nor Friendship can last very long whit the Persians. Only after some years of the defeat of the Romans, Persia Declared war. Troops started to be trained in Hattusas.

Cyrus declaring war

The Greek Astronomers have discover how to count days, week, month, and years, they have calculated the year when Jesus was born, they calcuated that it was 290 years before. They divided history in before christ and after death, but that leaves 33 years that are not from any age, when jesus was alive. Anyway, no one cared, they were happy that now they have a good system to count years, something that will help in writing history.
The same year the Persians declared war. Asoka an Indian leader has encounter the Greeks. So there is more world to the east that what the Greeks have thought.

Asoka

In Hattusas a Great Prophet whit the name of Moses has been born, he proposes that a great Church must be built in Salona, a Church that celebrates the birth of Jesus. It will be called the Church of Nativity, the construction starts inmediately.

Moses

During the reign of Alexander X, the real war whit persia started, the city of Tyros was attacked, but the Phalanxs defended it the enemy attack was repealed. Also in the city of Tanis (Old Dejanet) a revolution has started because the citizens wants that the city becomes egyptian again.

The Battle in Tyros

Alexander X has died, and Alexander XI becomes King. The Church of Nativity has been built. It has become a center of peregrination for all the Christian World (This include, Rome, Greece and Egypt), thanks to this, it has become also a center of great income for the Greeks.

The Church of Nativity

During Alexander XI´s reign another wave of Persian soldiers came to the east coast, also some pirates are robing the fishermen in Athenai. Tanis is attacked by the Persians, but again the Phalanxs repealed the attack.
Another revolution started in Tanis. Alexander XI took an important decicion, because Tanis is just too costly and generates almost no income, it will be given to Egypt. Also to gain more Income, an Open Borders Treaty was signed whit India.
- Barbarians and more Barbarians
After the death of Alexander XI, Alexander XII is crowned. He starts his reign whit an attack on Nineveh, the Phalanxs weren´t able to defend it this time, and has been conquer. Also barbarians from the north has attacked a Phalanx regiment that was defending a group of workers, it as defeated, and the workers killed. The lack of military in the empire was starting to be felt. Anyway the barbarians that left were killed by another phalanx regiment.
Some years after the capture of Nineveh, the Persians are open to talk about peace. Alexander XII himself has went to Persia to talk whit Cyrus. The trait was simple, the Greeks should tech their alphabet to the Persians, bringing some teachers from Athenai and peace will be signed. Alexander XII acepted.
A galley was built to finnally defeat the pirates, but it was destroyed easily.
In Hattusas the Parthenon was built, a great temple to worship God, Jesus and the holy spirit, built like the old Greek temples.
In the reign of Alexander XIII, a new wave of barbarians came to Greece and to Rome. Mediolanum was razed by the barbarians, the romans deserved it.
Another Great Prophet was born in Hattusas, called Mahavira, he created a school in Hattusas to expand his teachings very much people went to that school, and the income went to the state, also the people of Hatussas worked harder thanks to it.
Finally the Barbarian wave attacked. The Battle was fought between a regiment of Phalanxs against 4 regiment of barbarian horse archers and swordman. The battle was lost, Byzantion was undefended. The Regiments couldn´t reach the city in time. But Alexander XIII, had an idea, he sent a regiment of longbowman to Byzantion. When the Barbarians saw the regiment of longbowman, they went to attack them instead to attack the city. The two regiments of barbarian swordman attacked it, the longbowman were killed, but this bought enough time to the closest longbowman regiment to
go and kill the barbarians that left. The battle was won thanks to the stupidity of the barbarian leaders, and Byzantion was safe of the Barbarian attacks.
The Greek war machine has proved to be unsuccesful in defending all the empire. So interest in warfare was lost.
