Cultural, 1465, 44054 points (1465 basic), 11.5 hours, 4 sessions.
Small, GreatPlains, no barbs, no cheating. English, Lizzy. Hatty, Washington, Cyrus, Asoka.

Beeline to Alph (through Pottery) paid off, although I had to forget about wonders.
Built 4 cities stretched along the North.
Drama before Lite would have been better, in order to trade it for Maths, then get Music without researching Lite. Bad middlegame, no trades.

Teching till 560AD, Print and Nationalism (I was unable to trade for Economy). Liberalism 410AD. Alph 1600BC. Hammers phase: 300BC-980AD. No rush buying, but slavery.

12GP, none of them free, all artists but 1 scientist for Academy, all 100% probability. 4 Cathedrals. Only 2 religions (and they came late, so my date should be easily beaten). 7 cottages per city, more would have been better.

Mismanaged the last GP (can you believe it takes him time to travel to its destination?!) so 1 lost turn.

Debate:
1.- Worst problem was mid game trading. Only 1 AI will research Music or Philosophy, so you will never get those in a trade.
2.- Deity seem to be much more easy than other levels (except for the land grabbing phase, of course). They have so much money and gpt for trades that you can play 100% the whole game.
3.- Since you choose your starting position, you get a lot of resources, so you should always start with Agriculture and first production is a worker.
4.- Mercantilism or Free Market? If you are good enough at trading, you can get the techs from MC to Economy. So when you revolt to Free Speech, you have both economic options. I never know if I prefer 1 more Great Artist or the foreign trade routes.
5.- In this game my GPfarm was not one of the three legendary cities. It was nice to be able to farm its grasslands, to get more GPs. But it was terrible to see all that culture produced in the “wrong” city.
6.- Settings: I am not sure about the map, is a pangea better? Hatty seem to tech too fast, threatening to be first to Liberalism, are there more peace-loving leaders?
