I recently reinstalled civ and a couple mods. Then I loaded an old save of Japanand the borders/team color was purple/black. However, If I start a new game with Japan everything is normal and team color is red/white.

The save is the screenshots in my story attached to my link. In these screenshots I can tell the game is unmodded. The only two mods I have installed right now are FfH2 and Blue Marble. I also have some XML mods like the regimants 10+1 running but I suspect Blue Marble to be the cause. I have attached a screenshot of my XML file for the game that are in the right directories in my Custom Assests folder. Also a screenshot of the save game when it is loaded. If I just start a custom game with Japan everything is fine.

I looked for a way to unistall Blue Marble but I couldn't find one  I must be missing something. Anyone know how to uninstall Blue Marble? Also does anyone suspect something other than Blue Marble as the problem? Does my guess at it being Blue Marble make since or is Blue Marble probably not the problem? I really, really REALLY want to correct this save. If you can think of anything that might help me, please tell me.

EDIT: Added a screeny of how the game looked the last time it was played. It is zoomed in really close but you can see the differences.

Thanks.

Im not quite sure what you want (besides the uninstall of blue marble - which I dont know because I dont use it)

but if you are using mods AND Custom Assets... the mod files override anything in Custom Assets folder if they are the same files... (and Custom Assets take preference over the vanilla version)

now did you want purple/black? or the red/white one?

it looks like you have an idea on how to do... so you can define your own colors if you want... therefore the civ will always be that color (unless of course the civ is in the game twice)

to define colors and civ colors use this tutorial out:
(Look at Post#2 Part #10)

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=148507

it explains how to use existing colors or inventing new colors and how to add them to your civ

thus you can make your preferred colors from pre-existing colors or new colors by entering new values... :goodjob:

hope that helps ;)

Hmmm.. Actually, it is a an old save from a fresh install of vanilla. It should be red and white team colors. It is just a custom vanilla 1.61 game random map. But I have recently installed some mods and the colors are now different if I load up that old save. I need them to be red and white but they are coming out purple and black. If I just start up civ right now though and start a new game as Japan, I am red and white - the way it should be in the XML file. But that old save is getting something screwy out of some crosscode or something.

I can't locate blue marbles uninstall. :hammer2:

Okay I got the uninstall but it wasn't BlueMarble's fault. Fat poop.

is your old save using an older patch?

or are you using the warlords expansion?

check the your vanilla files (color values) custom assets files/mod files and see what is different?

does your oldsave game use the purple and black originally? if it does then it will not be updated to the new color scheme (the new mods/edits wont appear in the old saved game)
