For all of you that d/l before this update, redownload, i think you will like it ALOT better!!

Will not be updating this anymore, have continued in another direction.

I put the scenario in the public maps folder, so all you need to do is put the Shogun file in your MOD directory and go from there.:D

You need to get the lastest version, alot better than before.

-Settlers, you need rocketry to build them.:lol:

Updated:
Added civs wartime flags to some.
Added some units from Chinese Unification mod.
Changed map to Ancient, that way you could get the Great Wall and other Wonders.
Changed frigate to have bombard.
Just added Typhoid Mary.

The islands are the religions that came in from the foreign lands not true to looks, just diverseity is all.

I had some revolutionary ideas for the sengoku daimyo period, but as far as I know it would need some serious work on the sdk........

If you look at my files there are only the basic files here, only thing that is changed is the CIV4UnitInfos file from the original game. But i am taking all suggestions, and later down the road(hopefully) i will be changing this into one big MOD.;)
Right now i am searching the new civ files to be what i can come up with.
 
Version 01 is out and i added religions back in, but only after fussion and refrigeration. Also added realtime war flags to some units.

EDIT: DO you like the religions better this way or the non-use one??
 
I have new stuff ready, redid the religions again and some of the units to diff techs, and i have asked the Lopez to convert to Warlords, i will work from there once its done, and thx to The Lopez in advance and Ofc Reene also. Should be done sometime shortly , i hope. Just trying to get a better scenario/mod for the community is all.
 
I'd try out your mod its just that I'm quite busy and got my own mod and don't even have time to work on my mod, let alone play civ. I'd love to see the mod when you have really got into detail though.:)
 
Ive changed some things already, need help on trying to get new units/CIVs/buildings/religions etc and things in the game. I am no good at XML and the TUT's are not good for me, i need examples to under stand them.
 
I personally haven't taken a look at the tuts and had no prior knowledge of anything xml. Since I have a knack for these things though all I did was study the makeup of the xml files andd soon enough I could mod them pretty damn well. I would help you as I said but I'm just way too busy. I do hope you find what you need to do to help you with your mod. Good Luck!
 
I need new ideas, on how to change this into a better and more fun MOD, give me all your ideas and changes you thing i need to make, no matter even if its a small one, thx.

I am waiting for a copy of my MOD , i have added Shinto religion, and put the other religions on a separate island for each.

Which one for vanilla or warlords? I have changed alot since i uploaded also.

okay tried it out and ive got a couple of things
-all the warrior monks start as pink check c and c to fix this
-those islands in the sea of japan are kind've weird
-each civ starts with only one city i'd like some full fledged nations please
-also i studied this part of japans history extensively so i can help with that, with modding outside of worldbuilder i am poo poo
-let some people get there ideas in and dont post so much
 
Adding more and more everyday, i have added a skeleton and Typhoid Mary to the list of units (haven't got them in the update yet), and more to come, but i need ideas now how to improve the Tech Tree,thx.

Dont know how to ratify this yet, but I am sure it is something easily fixed.

With the mod being this young, its unlikely that we should see full nations or even city-states yet. Once the mod is working straight as an arrow edits to the starting map and adding larger nations will come up. :goodjob:

Send us some links on Japan's history at this time period and it will help greatly. Even if you cant help with XML, concrete knowledge will help this historical mod greatly.
