I didn't expect the turn to get back to us this quickly, but here it is. I think the last few turns have gone very well with respect to units killed and emptying towns, so I don't see any reason not to go for the kill this turn.

The plan:

Bomb Glazed and Malice until empty.

Capture both with marines.

On the southern front bombard a barricade or two as necessary.

Last turn both Sweet and Coffee were undefended so they will be our first targets if they are still undefended (to be determined via fighter recon).

Generally, I will move inland to sweep through DNuts core - I expect only coastal cities will have significant defense, so I will get as far from the coast as possible - say Strawberry to Krispy Kreme to whatever that next city is to Sugar, etc. Even if we fail to reach domination, we will demolish the Nuts core.

I haven't really thought about the north, but the same general rules will apply.

All cities will be captured and have their improvements sold.

As long as we are above the domination limits (territory and pop), all cities will be kept at the end of the turn except wonder cities which will be razed if doing so will not put us back below the domination limit. The wonders won't help us anyway, and I'm paranoid of something being different this game and it not ending as it is supposed to.

If we fail to reach domination, then all captured towns will be abandoned.

Playtime should be at about 9PM EDT (1 AM GMT) - about 5 hours from this post. Hope to see you all there!

I'll get the popcorn and beer!!!

I may be just a little late - but I'll be here as soon as I can!
:salute:

We are still strong to the Nuts. The Nuts have no new techs. We are at 46% of the land area and 54% of population.

Coffee is now defended, Sweet is still undefended, Glazed has a conscript infantry on top :).

Frigate bombards 2/2 infantry in Glazed to 1/2 - he is still on top :).

Bomber kills 1/2 infantry in Glazed, and the town is empty.

Bomber from Agrili destroys barricade west of Sweet.

That cavalry can still move, but he won't be able to attack another city, so I use him to snag the 2 workers north of Sweet. I can now see Strawberry is empty.

The next cavalry picks up 2 workers west of Strawberry and 1 NW of Strawberry on his way into Strawberry.

I sold a courthouse from Sweet - Strawberry has a market, courthouse, and barracks that bring in extra cash.

Our next cavalry lost a hp passing by a fortress but still completed his mission.

After one boat, we are at 49% of area and 59% of population.

Load 6 cavalry onto the next boat in Ithaca and unload in Glazed. Send the first due south of Krispy Kreme.

The cavalry can still move, but he won't be able to attack again, so he takes a peak at Springfield. Since they left their capital undefended...

The cavalry continue romping through towns capturing Never Again, Donut Filling, Crunch, Munchkin, Sugar Fruity Donutton, Barnpolis and a half dozen workers.

After 2 boats, our tally is up to 54% of the area and 65% of the population.

Wow, for some reason I didn't expect it this soon. :crazyeye:

I will be eagerly looking forward to hearing how it goes in the morning. :)

6 more cavalry head over on the next boat. The casualties include Hot Doughnuts, Jelly Filled, Chocolate (with the Pyramids), Frosted Lemon, Dunkin, Chocolate Glazed, and Oliebollen - apparently a cavalry can capture 2 cities as long as no fighting is involved and it has enough movement.

Three boats in - we are at 57% of the area and 69% of the population.

I find 3 cavalry with movement remaining, so even before the fourth boat comes over, we capture Bananas, Jungle Jen, and dl's place.

I think that it's rather ironic that we have more land on battle island than KISS does. ;)

Also you would have thought that Doughnut would have learned from KISS' lesson.

Whoo! hoo! [party]

I can't believe they have so many towns without ANY defense... what were they thinking?

Keep up the excellent work Mr. President!

On our fourth boatload, we suffer our first casualty of the war. For some reason, Glazed Gingerbread has a conscript infantry defending it. The cavalry that I moved there wouldn't have had enough movement left to attack anywhere else, so I attacked, and we lost without scratching the infantry. Maybe we'll return later with artillery.

Our successes were Kahnawake, Chocolate Frosted, Boston Kreme, Caughnawaga, Cattaraugus, Jungle Central, Blueberry Crumb, Wetlands, Gewauga, and Sweet Flour.

We're at 62% and 73%.

I guess they didn't know baracades could be bombed away?

Edit: you should rename "Never Again" to "indeed again". ;)
