Announcing the lastest version of the HOF Mod for Sid Meier's Civilization 4 - Warlords Version 2.08.

HOF Mod 2.08.001

Release Notes

Upgrade from V2.00.001 to V2.08.001

Changes:

  • Support for Warlords Patch 2.08
  • Removed Specialist Stacker (may be re-added next release)
  • Minor tweak to Modified Special Domestic Advisor screen borders (AlanH)
  • Misc. compatability changes for future Mac version of Mod (AlanH)

Special thanks to AlanH for helping us clean up our code for cross-platform support. Once the SDK makes it's way to the Mac, we will be in a good position to create a full Mac Version of the HOF Mod, allowing Mac players to participate in the Hall of Fame. :goodjob:
 
There seems to be a bug when using the special domestic advisor, on the buildings table.
I have just started a new game and settled my first city and the castle seems to be the only available building .... :crazyeye:

The behaviour of the buidings table is strange if i continue the game... Buildings that are available are missing and buildings that are not available are checked as available.
There is no problem anywhere else. For instance, i can build baracks and the castle is not available in the city screen at the beginning of the game, as expected. Just the buildings table of the special domestic advisor seems to have a problem...

:hmm: I wonder if the something with the images changed. I will have to take a look. Thanks :goodjob:

I play one game Warlords Civ Version 208 with HOF mod,
in my submissions ¹3718. I see icon there - Civ W 2.00 ???
In General I see Version 2.00 too.

When I load my start file, my game was 2.08 version.
It is alright. It is just a setup problem. We can tell the difference internally. It will be fixed.

Great news! Will my place ever get clean when I have all this gaming to do?:lol: Thanks a lot for coming up with the patch this quick, guys. I love Warlords for the new traits and the UBs. You made my week. :D

That's not necessarily true, we haven't decided yet. We may move the 2.00 games across from beta to Quattro. First we need to evaluate how comparable 2.00 and 2.08 games are though.

Like 2.00.002 MOD I have the same problem with this mod.
I f I modify the ini and set the mod to be auotloaded I got the error "assets ..... crc".
But If I unload the mod and load it Manually than I have no problem after startign a game.
Would you please tell me what can cause the problem.

The solution was last time to modify the shortcut with "-mod ...", but I unfortunately I forgot it.

Please tell me how can I do it from shortcut (not from ini) to load a moad as default.

Type a space after the exe and then mod= mods\HOF-2.08.001
