DEAD IN THE WATER ::: Rise and Fall of the Great Nations
The Year is 4000 BC. the planet Earth is green and ripe fruits of life. Humanity is rising from the frost of the previous ice age. Primitive men develop weapons of stone and everyday life goes on as it did before.
But now, great men are rising from the primitives. Leaders. Leaders with a soul yearning to do something great. And with the help of his allies, he may just do so...
Take the role of a primitive man and work to colonize the planet with your imperialist ways, or will you settle in a small area and work to bear prosperity to your people?
::: ::: :::
This will take place of a normal Earth Map. You have the choice of making up ur own empire or u can build up a know empire from scratch (like Greece or Rome)... Heres basically what u need:
Country Name - (example. The Carthigian Empire)
Founded: (example. 4000 BC.)
State Religon: (Example. Islam 'or' None)
Government: (example. Despotism)
Economy: (example. Breaking Even)
Military: (example. Adaquete)
Civil Status: (example. Unhappy / Revolution / Happy / etc.)
Special Unit: (example. Cossacks)
Navy: (example. None - You need to research Alphabet)
Airforce: (example. None - You need to research Flight)
Starting Technology: (Example. Pottery & Warrior Code)
Culture: (example. Rich / Poor / Developing)
Wonders: (Example. You dont start with wonders, ya gotta build em, and be realistic about it)
Education: (example. Rich / 3 out of 4 educated)
Literacy: (Example. Rich / 3 out of 4 literate)
Scientific Research: (example. Extensive)
Luxuries and nearby Resorces are to be placed according to the actually Civ III Earth Maps and the real world. Realism is the key.
Military Victory is easiest against Barbarians but if going against against another players nation... Well, be fair and considerate, take into the thought ur status (like the one above)... The Size and Stature of your army depends on ur Nation. If u have 3 major cities then it doesn't take much to have a strong military but if you have like 15 major cities then you need alot more.
Economy is represented this way.
- Collapsing: -10 or lower
- Weak: -1 through -9
- Breaking Even: 0
- Growing: +1 through +9
- Strong: +10 though +24
- Economic Superpower: +25 or more
Your economy can start as either Collapsing (for those who want a challenge building it up), Weak (Still a challege but a simplier one) Breaking Even (Its clean start) or Growing (Starting with a bonus) You can not have Strong of Economic Superpower...
To improve economies You must make trade with others players. A luxury item ammounts to +1 economy point. You cannot simple go from a weak to a growing economy in no time flat. It takes work.
Military grows slowly too... it takes three turns to build a new force (1 warrior = a force of 100 warriors) You can build units in every city and speed up the growth of military. But for governments like democracies... Building 15 warriors or a force of 1500 warriors, will cost 1 economy point, the upkeep cost.

Before I go on, tell me, am i doing this right? If so I will go on but if not I might as well tell a mod to delete this.)
