i downloaded the newest version, (i haven't tried any others before) and i wouldn't work!:sad: i can load the senario through "advnaced" but i can't get to it after it reloads. I can't play it thorught 'single player- Play senrio' when i do that, it just isn't there. Anyone help?

And the correct procedure after instalations (wich is just putting the rhyes folder inside the mods folder) is to enter the game, click advanced, load mod, load the mod, and then click scenario and choose the rhyes. thats it.
 
(it is not in english?)
anyway, i know those are the steps but it won't appear in the list of playable mods after i load it? understand what i mean? (i did extract the files to Mods folder. is that right?)

Not only was this fairly rude, you also spelled installations and which wrong. Furthermore, you failed to capitalize proper names, and used an internet acronym. Not exactly a shining defender of the language of Shakespeare, are you?

@Mowque: If you are using Civ4 Warlords, make sure you put the scenario in the Civ4 Warlords mod folder.

Also, be sure that you are using, say, the Warlord's version of Civ with the Warlord's version of RFC, and that your game is fully updated with all relevant patches.
 
It seems too that the vanilla civ 4 has annoying "protections", that mean to prejudici your gameplay, if you use no-cd patches (wich everybody uses!), so I recommend you use warlods ever. Which you are you using? war or the vanilla?

vanilla, my friend has my warlords, would it be easier to play on that? It does load alright, when i go to 'Advanced' but it still doesn't appear when i reload the game. Any ideas why? thanks for answering me at all.
 
note, also it says that my Movies are not loaded properly. what does that mean? could that be something signifagant?

Let´s leave the grammar remarks and try to help Mowque. ;)

Did you install the mod in the mods folder in your civ4 main folder or in the one in My Documents?
 
when it didn't work, both. of course, (or maybe not?) i tried to put it in the Civ 4 main folder first. but when it didn't work i moved to to My Documents on a off chance that was where it was supposed to go.

So it is in both places, both unzipped.
 
The way I installed mine was I unzipped the whole thing into my mods folder and I was ready to go. I've never had any problems with it.

Leave the one in the main civ directory only. It should be like this:

Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Rhye's and Fall of Civilization

And there you should have two sub-folders: assets and privatemaps.

Then start the game, go to advanced, load a mod and choose Rhye´s and Fall of Civilization. Then the game will restart. Go to single player, scenario and there chose the one that says Rhye´s and Fall of Civilization.

well, i tried that and i worked until after it reloaded. there was no "rhye's and fall of civilization" option to chose even after i reloaded it.
 
There wasn´t one in single player/scenario? There should be a map called like that there.
 
nope, that's the problem. it has the other ones listed, any ideas why it is broke?

If you haven´t moved the map.

After you load the mod, you must choose Play Scenario, and then to the left the Rhye´s and Fall of Civilization map should appear.

Nope, and it doesn´t matter. Unzip the mod again, and if it still isn´t there, re-download it. :)
