Engineer with Modern Worker Body, unskinned

this unit is based on the engineer, but its body has been grafted to the modern worker model. this unit is not skinned, except to tell you where to put your own custom graphics. modify ge_plans.dds to change it.

HINT TO MODDERS: this unit works for all great people animations AND missionaries too! they all work with this (let me know if i am mistaken plz)

Garret, does this mean you gave us a unit with worker animations who can be a great person as well?
 
what this was meant to be is a worker body (great for reskinning, like uniforms) onto the engineer, who has an excellent G. Person/Missionary activation animation. The animation consists of glowing light, overlapped by a texture you create (default for engineer is the 'arch de triumph schematic)

This unit would be great for things like alternate religions, replacing religion with Ideology, and for new great people types. The great part is your G. People and Missionaries are now activation animated!
 
I think the unit'd be quite good as a great person for a Marxist nation, in the mould of a Great Prophet.

I'm thinking in particular of the propaganda boost provided by Stakhanov; the mine worker who extracted an inordinate amount of coal (I think...I'm going on a vague memory of something I read when I was 15) in a single shift. He started the whole Stakhanovite Movement which served as a boost to production as fellow Russians were inspired to achieve similar feats. This page's been bookmarked for a Scenario I have bouncing around my head!
