I've set up the game: Brennus & His Wang vs The Whores of Babylon

Brennus & Wang are Team 1.
We are playing against all the girls: Cathy, Hatty, Lizzie & Vicky, and Izzy.
Shuffle world, random everything, Monarch difficulty, raging barbs.

Shuffle map with random settings and "regionally intense barbarian activity" is anything but bland.

But do you want the way of the sword or the pen? That has a pretty big impact on variants.

I'll play - banana bland or chile hot.

A monk and and idiot? That'll do for starters

I'll roll the dice this evening. My style, if there is such a thing, is to hit early if I can, then consolidate... I find this boring. So the preference is probably to hit early, then middle, then late. So most likely "way of the sword" (and probably beyond it, just to be keeping current).

As for starts... a start like the one attached would be fun at Monarch... note the lack of decent city sites available! At Noble this wasn't a problem and this game could probably be an easy enough UN win. But I digress.

As for a variant, Brennus vs. the Amazons (i.e. an exclusively female AI team)?

The only true variants I can recall at the moment have been done. Passive aggressive sounds interesting, but everyone is doing it.

I'll polish the tooth and think further. :eek:

I think we only need one friend. Could vicky and lizzy play in the same game? Never tried that. Two redcoat AI's. Hmm.

We could always kick this down to small, if we don't want two english ladies...

Maybe Wang as our friend (pun intended)

I think it's possible to set up a custom game where Brennus & Wang are in a locked alliance, and the rest are, well, the rest....

There we are. Now as we've stacked the odds in our favour by teaming up with Wang, and I've not teamed any of the girls, I think we should add a few bits of flavour for ourselves.

1) War. We keep a list in order of the Ladies we meet. We declare war on them in that order, starting from the first turn of the first meet-up. Once one is destroyed, we declare on the next one.
2) I'm still thinking about 2).

How bout we declare on them in the order they start making demands? In other words, we're allowed to meet all and get acquainted, but the first time they demand, we declare. We must then remain at war until the she-devil is vanquished or vassalized?

As an alternative, just make it we have to be at war with one of them all the time. We can make peace to pointy stick some techs.
