Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum, but already read the neverending story post, and thought of it as a good idea. Well, actually, I read one page and thought it was finished, but then saw three more pages! For those who want to make a new story, or just dont have time to read all of the first one, here's your chance. Once again, the object is:
I'm beginning a story which we can all write, and it should hopefully never end. Basically, I start by writing a bit, then someone else writes a bit, then another person, and so on. You can write as many times as you like, just let someone else write a bit before you write your next piece. And it's for everyone, so if you feel like having a go at writing in this, do so!
Now this should be interesting lol! Oh, and the story isn't going to be based on a Civ3 game, but should try and stick naer the Civ3 principle...

She looked at the status report of her nation. The economic wealth, the population, and the culture more then doubled any of her rivales. And most important, her people were ready for a war. The territory to the north of her nation, belonging to the undesisive Canadians, have always looked promising. The only problem of going into war was that she hadn't not one allie. Canada had good relations with every country. The nation of America, in all it's glory, couldn't stand a chance in a world war, so she decided to lie low for now, and when the time comes, spring on her enemy.

"The Russian intelegence has told us, sir, that the Japanese islands are up for sale. I think it would be wise to pruchase them, so that no other nation can have a base close to us." Explained the domestic advisor. China was gearing up for war, and King Tsing Rih was ready. His allie, India, was also ready. And they were looking for some Africa wilderness....

Ok, so i have set the stage for three civilizations. The world right now is in peace, after the Russian invasion of the Japanese islands. Japan now only exists in one city on an island near the south pole. There is worldwide tension, though very laxed in Europe.
