Here's another spaceship based on the Sulaco model from Aliens. I still like my older version, but I wanted to do a little more with this unit, since I think the design of the ship is pretty cool. This is a bigger badder version with five attacks, so use it however you want.

I'll warn you, the download is pretty big, so it's not for the faint of heart. Enjoy.

My God that's good. I still love seeing that shield effect kick in, gives my space opera loving inner child shiver when I see that. So many attacks, wish we could use them all.

EDIT - Ooh, just noticed, that quietly brought up my 900 posts. :cool:

Looking at these beautiful spaceships and how it looks,maybe NavyDawg can make some 'Transformers' since the movie is coming out this summer or fall?

Thanks guys, glad you like it. I had a lot of fun with the animations, although the fighters were quite challenging.

@ Virote, Yes, I'll have several variants of this unit in my mod, like a Battlecarrier and Assault Ship. Hence, the many attacks.

@ Cartesian, I don't plan to make any Transformers, since I could never model any of them. Civ animations would lend them self well to these units, though by using Fortify and Victory to "transform."

I would think that there would be INSANE amounts of animation for the "transform" part...and now that I think about it, how could you make Soundwave eject tapes?....

Insanely nice, Insanely nice, NavyDawg. Normally I'm not to into scifi mods but with units like these, yours may be the first one I get into. I can't wait to see what's next.

That's amazing. I don't know how you did half of those effects. Having the escape pods fly out just before it explodes is a nice touch!
