I just started the game. We're Arabia on a standard continents map. Difficulty is Emperor again, speed is normal.

Lots of food around, and 3 hills. This could be a great production site.

Initial research and production: We have the wheel and mysticism. We could go for a religion, but I'd prefer going for fishing first. We could build another warrior, and then two workboats to speed up growth, and then a worker. This would give us a worker very late, but will give us the time to research some worker techs first (Agriculture-AH or Mining-BW). It will also let us grow very big.

Fishing is the only way to go in such a situation. So warrior then work boat sounds good to me.
 
What are we going to do about the roster by the way?
As Theoden, Lord Parkin and Dave are probably quite busy most of the time, I'd say that one of them can take it whenever they have time, and 1889 and I will try to take it in between.
 
Warrior is not really necessary, is it? We're against AI, so we're not going to get early-rushed against.

My thoughts - Maybe one work boat first. Head to Animal Husbandry ASAP, and get that worker out. That plains-cow tile will be a major and valuable production boost for us.

I will be able to play this most of the time for the next 2 weeks, then my time will become more limited. I suggest that 1889 goes next, I'll go afterwards.

Ah, OK. I guess the Warrior is the most useful thing, then. That is, unless we want to get a couple of turns into the Worker first.

I agree with warrior first, then fishing boat. Animal Husbandry should be our main priority after Fishing.

Put me last on the roster if possible, please. That way the chances that I'll have to skip will be minimised. :)
 
Just 7 turns this time so we can discuss the next tech.

Land to the west is a peninsula. A goody hut gave us a map which revealed another hut to the north. Finished fishing and qued up hunting as the fastest way to animal husbandry. Warrior finishes next turn.

Yes, but the extra +1 food and +2 hammer from that cow tile will benefit us for every turn earlier we can get the improvement built. ;)

W of the goody hut seems to be a decent location to settle.
 
Not much to report. Got a goody hut, beat a lion in a battle. Continued on the path to Animal Husbandry. Work boat almost finished. That's about it. :)

Capital finished worker, started work boat. Production will be finished as the city grows so I propose a settler next.
Mining finished, Bronze Working started.
