LINESII has, over the course of the last few updates, grown into a mammoth operation. Updates are taking me massive amounts of time. I have a diagnosed speed processing disability, which is probably the main reason.
I'd like to live on weekends again- write stories for other NESes (things that most of you will note as being nearly non-existant).
I love this NES, and of course it will continue. But what its future will be is up to you. I'm frankly terrified as I post this, I can imagine many of you being furious at me (and the fact that several of you know more about me than I'm comfortable with), particularly this:
Here are the possibilities:
1. Continue LINESII- I can continue doing it, and we will regard Jalapeno's statement as nonexistant, as well as all of this discussion. LINESII will continue as it is, but I will have to radically ramp down the quality.
2. LINESII continues in Space- DON'T KILL ME! Listen first. JD's statements are true, and backed up by a far greater technology. The Sky Gods are real, they are beings from another world (*dodges tomato). For several centuries they have observed this world, at first out of minor curiosity, then out of active interest. Over time, they grow lethargic, but some see the horrors of this world and vow to end them. They then are discovered by the Citadel (who found one of their people landed on Tellus), and devise... this plan.
Once the world has agreed to live together in peace (not submit to a global government), technology would rapidly advance under extratellustrial tutelage, and this NES would move into space. People could continue their nations in space, or become an alien power... whatever they'd want.
The NES would be more story-based than rule based.
Just so you know, this has been planned since the beginning of the NES. But if there is too much hatred of the idea, I'll chuck this plan.
3. "I'm fine with the Space NES, but for goodness' sake, don't warp this wonderful NES into it. End it and start a new one."
4. You can't stand to see any of these. "Keep this great thing as it is! Death to the idiotic/unrealistic/expletive aliens. If you can't keep up LINESII, end it as it is, run far far away, and NEVER RETURN!"

North King said:I would NEVER join another LINES, and I would hope no one else could.
