Ivan was Terrible, not Great.

I do have to say thought, that Civ4 Catherine is Hot.

Yeah, I know that. I just thought I saw "Ivan the Terrible" there. :crazyeye: In any case, my vote goes to Ivan the Terrible.

I'm going for Ivan, simply because the pictures I've seen of him look sooo sinister.

@ Plot - Didn't EmbryoDead do an Alexander Nevsky recently?

EDIT - Damn, I voted for Ivan the Great but meant Ivan the Terrible. Sorry Shiro.

Yes, you're right; but then I think Shiro did Peter the Great before as well, and of course Jorde did Stalin, so I take it he's just looking for ideas of who is most suitable rather than necessarily who hasn't been done.

Yes, that is right

Its clearly Ivan III the Great, and since he was the grandfather of the so called Ivan the Terrible, I see no problem in voting for him. In fact I think, that besides or lets say before his utter madness, Ivan IV had all right to be called "great" aswell.

On second thought, Ivan IV might be more appropriate, since he was the first Czar of Russia.

That just means that he was the first person to use the title; it doesn't mean he was any more powerful than his predecessors. After all, I have heard that the first British prime minister to be officially given that title was actually John Major, but I hope no-one would think that that makes him the best one...

What? You guys don't like Vlad Lenin?

I would even volunteer my own mugshot for the model work...ha ha ha

I've heard that it was roughly around the beginning of th last century that it was official, not the end. However, Major was a great and strong leader of our nation.

[off topic]I knew that the PM was a fairly modern term, and I believe that it was originally intended as a bit of an insult. Wiki has a fairly interesting article on it - look at the section titled 'The Office'. [\off topic]

Well a young Catherine would be awsome:D Maybe make it like the civ4 one:drool:

Also a Soviet leader would be nice either Lenin, Stalin, or Kruschev. Putin could be quite interesting too...
