I forgot to add snowy mountains. I think I have to do an updated version, maybe also add some more water in the west, so the minimap will get better proportions.

I made it salt water, that way you can build harbors and use your sea units on it. I know it should be fresh, but I think it's cooler the other way gameplay-wise.

If you put rivers all the way around the amazon, it counts as both. That's what I've done with the Nile in my Greek scenario.

Besides as you can see from the screenshot there are many tributary rivers, so fresh water isn't far away.

Well you can place floodplains in the editor without using rivers, altough it will looks like desert, and won't have the fresh water bonus.

It is very exciting to play on this great scenario since I live somewhere over there. Pity there are no modern countries to play with, such as Argentina, Chile, Brazil or Uruguay. I have to satisfy myself with the indians and european colonizers. Thanks a lot!
