No deserts on Isla Nublar or Isla Sorna, dude
I Would say that there are way too much grassland, it should definately have some plains (maybe even deserts) and hills mixed in. Try to get the Mountains to meld into hills in most places before they meet the flat grassland. Perhaps you could include more jungle near the seas, then grassland as you work your way inland, then plains and desert when you get near the middle of the island.
You generally find that too much terrain that is the same (for example, too much grassland) gets boring in the game. Also, you have no fresh water (lakes or rivers) on the map - I would definately look into that - a few rivers would help a lot.
Good luck with any revisions. Hope that my feedback is helpful.
Actually, you have to consider that it may be the habitat for one of the Dinos.
Since I don't know which island you're doing:
Here are some maps of Isla Nublar (original)

(some discrepencies, I know)
and here is Isla Sorna (Lost World and III)

Good luck and power to ya! About time someone did this.
I'd have to mod into some dino's though, seems like the right thing to do.

The 2nd link is giving me a 403 forbidden error. What the hell am I going to use a fictional map for?
EDIT: Seems to just be Firefox. The link works perfectly in IE.
