This is going to be the first scenario for the new MEM mod (see sig for download link). In this thread I (and hopefully ED too;)) will post screenshots from the testing of HYW, aswell as listening to your comments. The scenario is meant to be a supplement to the epic play of MEM, focussing on specific historical events, thus making the mod longer lasting.

The scenario will feature nine playable civs: England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Burgundy, Aragon, Castille, Portugal and Nasrids, as well as two nonplayable: Holy Roman Empire and Barbary States.

Sweet. Will there be new units as well?

It will be based very much on the mod, so not much new stuff.

edit: It will take use of some stuff that have previously not been used in the mod though, like victory point scoring.

Looks great! I really like the idea of making a number of scenarios based on a mod like this.

:bounce: Finaly! I too hope to see new units. New units are good. I like them. I hope there will be more. Cos I like them. I really do. Oooooonits! w00t!

Hang on, don't you have unit-making capabilities yourself these days...?

Another advantedge is that you don't need to download some 1GB zip file when the scenario is released, but just a single biq, and possibly a few small pcx's and txt's.

Looks great.

Question: Will you be making other scenarios based like this one on MEM, too?

I would like too, but I won't work on multiple scenarios at the same time, so at this point no further scenarios are officially planned.

Where`d you get that idea? True, I have Poser, but it takes 5 bloody minutes just to open the damn thing! 96MB is really not intended for unit-making :(
I tried a couple of times, but each time I got so frustrated by the slowness that I stormed (!!!) out of the house for a walk around the block (or in the woods at my old home).

You can also choose to not play as England or France. Here I am playing as Portugal, and being, somewhat, succesful in waging war on the Castillians.

They're using elves as pikemen ;) ...
...as will I be in my mod ;) .

Guys, it looks great. It's a nice twist as well that you can play as civs other than England and France. Will you be able to play as Scotland to create hassle for England as they attempt to win the war against France?
