"..is officially observed as Loyalty day in the United States".

How could i have never even heard of it or heard anyone mention it then? Anecdotal evidence should apply for something like this. :crazyeye:

Since it falls in Tuesday this year, many workers in Spain do the so-called "puente" (brigde), so they take Monday off and they have a four days holidays break. They drive their cars and line up to the beach where they do nothing but sun-tanning. You have to be toasted, the summer is coming fast.

Happy worker's day. [party]

Happy International Worker's Day

Thank you. Same to you and everybody else. Here in Slovenia we light this huge bonfires, similar to st. John's fire for summer solstice. And yeah, really prolongated weekend we have. 28th was a day of memory of rebellion against occupation (Nazi), tomorrow May 1st. One big holiday.

I get a day off so it's all good.

Bright International Workers' Day everybody!

Unfortunately in my country it is often marred by people not knowing what it commemorates. So remember folks!
