here's one of mine; what does FTW mean? i see it all the time on the internet but i have no idea what it means.

oh. I thought it meant for the WORLD. that would explain some improper usage and miscomprehension.

I thought it had to do with James Bond movies... (none of which I've ever been able to sit through, since I find them incredibly boring)

Would it count in my favor if I said I really liked the Flintstones parody of James Bond? :p It's been years since I last saw it, but I still remember Madam Yes slinking around and Jay Bondrock's many lady friends crooning, "Jay Bondrock, you're wonderful!" :lol:
 
I saw in this forum the word "milf" used, but I thought it was a pornographic term. Is it appropriate for a normal forum, or just... well... pornographic? I have no idea what it means, and all my guesses have been proved wrong, so far.

And what does the health bar of a BitTorrent file mean? Whenever I try to download a BitTorrent file a get an error. For that matter how do you download a BitTorrent file properly? I have the program and I've been trying to download sumthin but it downloads at 1-3 kbps which id damn slow and it'll take like 23 days to finish downloading.
 
Doubtful you'll get bittorrent help here, as it can be used in Piracy.

Anyways, [wiki=Wii]Wii[/wiki] is the newest generation Nintendo Console.

the more people that are offering the wanted file, the bigger the health bar. even more so if the people who seed it have the complete file already

could be that you're just trying to download some obscure file. Try something with a lot of sources (linux distros for example have usually plenty of sources and should download quickly)

or maybe you've got a problem with NAT-Routing, but that belongs more into computer talk :)
