JLimitedEra Mod

Heres a little mod that limits how far you can research along the tech tree. Just set the last era you want to research in the INI config file and your good to go.

It isn't much, just an if statement in the cannotResearch CvGameUtils method. All the rest of the code I added was to add the INI config file.

I like your work Zebra 9, especially your Archeology Mod, and I must say good choice on your signiture . I'm glad to see another python modder join the community, since the SDK came out they all moved to that and python mods have gotten scarce. Keep up the good work and I'm interested to see what you come out with next.

I like this mod idea. I prefer the ancient, medievil and renessance content over the modern content so I was interested at locking the era down at renessance. Basically so the industrial and modern ages can never come.

I couldnt get this mod to work though, I'm a complete newbie so can someone explain how to install the mod and make it work?
