Back when I made the [civ4] smiley, people also asked why we didn't have Civ (1) and Civ2 smileys. Here are two simple adaptations of the Civ IV version. One is the same gold on black with a silver/white roman II and the second uses the colours from the Civ2 box art (red and gold on a sandy background).

Winner from the Box Art: [civ2] added as [civ2] for all to use.
Runner up in Gold on black:

The Civilization [civ1] smiley is added as [civ1] for all to use.

Now there is also a Test of Time smiley proposal based on the box art as posted in the wikipedia article.

Test of Time [tot] smiley is added as [tot] for all to use.

I like the box art one. The contrast is borderline, but that is of no concern, as the colours immediately give away the game. :thumbsup:
 
I like that one better too.

Someone make an icon for Civ1, and I will add both together. :)
 
I think it would be cool if the civII one were based on the icon like the civIII one. You know, that little green and blue planet.

I like the civ one a lot. :goodjob:

Thanks, Yoda Power. The Civ II icon was based on the box art. It's been ages since I had Civ II installed. Does anyone have a screenshot of the icon?
 
I think they're all cool. :)

Is there any possibility of icons/smileys for Civ II: Test of Time and Sid Meiers' Alpha Centauri?

hmm... all other version icons use [ ]. I have changed the civ1 and civ2 icons to use [ ] too instead of : :.

How about this

It is based on the gold letters on blue background as shown in the Boxart on the wikipedia article.

Note how the O has an opening on the right and a little ring inside as in the boxart. The left and right T's are of different intensity. I can naturally make them both identical if I know which is deemed better.
