Breaking news:

FMV sequence in a spaceship - looks Terran - zooming in on a metal door - door opening - reveals a guy with a cigar in chains - prisoner - door shuts behind him - there's so much bass the room is shaking - guy steps into some kind of metallic devicce - legs are strapped in - guy rising toward ceiling - Korean text on screen got people very excited - another part of the machine is dropping metal arms on him - machine whirring - applying armor to his torso - extremly detailed visuals here - now guy is strapping on gloves - armor is molding together - seems like a Terran marine - rockets turn on - zerg now onscreen - Marine delivers a line - StarCraft 2 officially announced.

Oh man, This is cool, it's to bad I am sure it will be at least another year or so before the game comes out.
 
Only took a decade. Should be a hit but I don't know if it will have the impact of the 1st. RTS games don't see much play now compared to a few years ago.

Finally, one of my favorite games returns. If it keeps up pattern of original and brood wars, Terran should be final (or third) campaign stage with Zerg being first and Protoss being 2nd. Not counting any additional races that might pop in.
 
Today marks the beginning of the end of the Korean nation...

Terran, Zerg, Protoss all the way!

Love the battlecruiser in the screenshot. Great to have recognizable stuff still hanging around.

It's exactly the same game with flashy new graphics! You like this? This "makes you salivate"? The graphics of the original were perfectly fine. I guess this is the future of gaming. Same old same old -- but with new graphics! Settlers 2 is doing the same thing. Same game with new 3D graphics. And the graphics in both games is in fact the same looking as the old graphics, but just in 3D and slightly more decorous.

You judge all of this from one map setting? ('Space' I'm guessing). The gaming world is going 3D. I don't know why you hold on so desperately to your 2D universe. I dont think your problem is that its a 'photo-copy' of the original Starcraft, more like you hate anything that is 3D
