CarmenNES01: European Union Thread

This is where the European Union members debate, requests to join the EU, etc.

Rules:

1. New nations are to request membership here. The EU will vote to see if this nation joins or not. Nations MUST BE in Europe and not have invaded an EU country in the past 10 years.
2. EU members may help eachother, request aid from other EU nations, propose resolutions, vote on resolutions, and protect eachother in times of war.
3. EU members may be kicked out if they invade another EU member, impose sanctions or embargoes on EU nations, tell another EU nation to do these actions on behalf of the EU nation, use a third-party nation to do these actions on behalf of the EU nation, and tell another non-EU nation to invade an EU nation.

Current Members: Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourgia, Scandinavia, Germany, GUK, and Denmark.

Resolutions:

100.1: Impose the Euro currency on all EU members for purposes of economy

100.2: Joint project to develop bio-fuels to replace oil.

The GUK would like to present its reasons for the invasion of Ireland, and hopes to be reinstated as a EU member.

also Spain is willing to listen to the GUK, they have seemed reasonable in recent dealings.

Spain would like to propose a joint project for all EU nations to develop bio-fuels to be used instead of oil

The GUK votes YEAY on resolution 100.2, NEIGH on 100.1

We've allowed you to join the EU, but must warn against invasion of other members, or you'll be kicked out like France.

The GUK has stated its reasons for the prevention of Terrorism breeding in Ireland. It is now safe and secure and there will be no futher attacks that would alarm the international community.
