PC Gamer has reported in its latest issue that these scenarios/mods would be included in the Civ4: Beyond the Sword expansion pack.
  • Final Frontier: A space scenario where you control a human colony and expand your territory in space.
  • Afterworld: A squad-based tactical "thriller" where the player fights undead in the X-com style.
  • Gods of Old: A scenario focused on religion.
  • Chaos: A game of Civilization where you constantly face exciting random events.
  • Next War: A futuristic sci-fi scenario with clone armies and more.
  • Charlemagne: Conquer Europe during the renaissance.
  • Crossroads of the World: A late medieval age scenario where you explore and conquer the crossroads of the world in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
  • Broken Star: Civil war has struck the Soviet Union. Unite the russian bear!
  • Superrobo: Be the first civilization to find and collect the parts to a giant mysterious robot that crashed on Earth.
  • WWII Road to War: Atlast! Play as the Allies or Axis in both the Pacific and Europe.
  • Fall from Heaven: A popular fantasy mod for Civilization IV, improved for the expansion.
  • Rhye's and Fall of Civilization: Another improved and updated favorite among the fan's mods for Civ IV.

Boo that there is no World of Jules Verne scenario. That was the best from Civ 2 fantastic worlds damnit!

Bring back Jules Verne!

Unholy Hemah, I couldn't believe the headlines today. :D There is more to it in the article, but that will probably find it's way here soon.

I guess he was talking about the print issue, so bad luck for us... we have to wait until someone tells it. ;)

Perfect, I am really looking forward to getting this stuff...!

Seems to be the first and really official expansion for Civ4, especially with FFH (This is still THE add-on for Civ4...).

I am already counting down the days!

Congrats to all those who got their mods on board.....

Now that you guys are all basking in glory, perhaps you can move onto your next project.... hint hint A Smac mod could always do with some extra hands!

Is the magazine available to the public yet, or just to subscribers? Off to B&B after work!

Too bad the final one is from someone that doesn't help the rest of the CFC people here in the forums, only himself?? I have never seen him help anyone on the forums??

You might be facing some bad luck. The article I quoted was the printed edition of PCGamer...in Sweden. More exactly No 125 (5) May 2007.

Yeah, congrats to those guys, shows that moding can be so rewarding and also, its great from Firaxis to put those mods in the expansion.

What might the bold ones mean? Hmmm...

Final Frontier? World war III? Nuclear war between America and the Islamic world?

Great to have a Byzantine scenario (probably, Crossroads of the world). Might have something to do with the Turks also!
But does this mean we'll be seeing Adolf Hitler! The road to war?!? Adolf's insanity was the road!

Anyway, I'm really pleased my favourite mod, Rhye's and fall of Civilization is in. Again, congrats to Kael and Rhye for having their mods in there!

Thanks for the info, OctopusOverload. And thanks Methos for posting the news!

Looks like an interesting list! Hope we learn more about each of them soon...
