Here is my first large landmark intended for use in capture the flag and scenarios with victory points markers. (Maybe someone has some other use for them).

To use: create flat terrain area or place on an area that is flat preferably a fairly large flat area.

The land mark is 3 tiles in size and in the middle of some flat terrain place in an "<" shape to form the landmark, then you can place other tiles around it as you see fit.

Very nice, Pounder, it looks amazing!

THAT IS GREAT!!! :woohoo:

Too bad the palace (the palace from the "palace view", not the palace building that's found always in your capital) doesn't have the isometric angle... Imagine the possibilities. But even so, it is great!

This looks very compelling. I'd love to see this in a game.
How would you do it? What purpose?
And what is an "<" shape?

I've been trying to get a landmark looking properly on my Sengoku scenario, namely a revised version of your Mount. Fuji graphic, but the damn thing won't appear right where I want it. It seems that only certain predetermined areas make it appear, meaning the sites where it DOES appear are way too far away from the actual Mount. Fuji site.

These look good though. I can't think of any requests now, but maybe in the future. Just keep making these I would say. I wonder what a forbidden palace landmark would look like? Or even a Great Wall landmark (I'd love to see that one actually)? ;)

Pounder, Id love to get you to make a "Stone Table" for Narnia...but only 2 squares if thats possible...these are incredible...I like the aquaduct most of all...

I wonder if any of the Zombie games could use a landmark, like say, a stadium...

[edit] I can get you pics if you are willing to take the request

@Rommel: Try adding/taking away Hills and/or Mountains. They are what pre-determine what the mountains next to them look like.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try fiddling with it a bit more.

By the way Pounder, is the limit of tiles useable at three per landmark or can it stretch beyond that. And does the exact form of the tiles matter or can one make them for instance, all in a straight line, because that's what it look like with the aqueduct?

I used 4 tiles for Killimanjaro,

and the aqueduct is actually 2 diagonal tiles (I know it doesn't look it, but it is).

Edit: I find it best to used triangle or diamond shaped. You can use use one over the other, or one beside the other, but you still end up wasting tiles because basically the diamond or triangle patterns persist.

Pounder only i tell u that i like a lot all your civ work. thanks for everything, i have d/l all of u. greetings.

This is great stuff Pounder. I would like to request a Hoover Dam landmark.

Hey, I've been trying to find a thread that has the graphics you use for strategic and luxury resources(like the oil spouting up instead of just pool of oil). Do you know where I could get them?
