2 quick questions:

1) What is the 'rate of healing' when a unit is on: one of your cities, somewhere in your influence, somewhere in the wild (no influence), an enemy influence, etc. etc. Basically where and how is unit healing modified, and is it a % rate or a point rate (meaning more HP units take more time to heal)

2) Someone told me that if you build an early wonder (say pyramids) when it is obsolete you still gain the culture/great people points/etc. just not the 'effect', and not only that but as time goes on early wonders are worth more and more culture. Is that true? and if so what is the rate or how is it determined?

thanks!

Q2: Culture stays with obsolete wonders (Pyramids never obsolete btw), and doubles after 1000 years. The other effects and great person points get removed though. If you conquer a wonder rather than building it yourself you get NO culture from it but the other effects stay until it obsoletes.

I'll take your word for it. Does that mean you don't get GPPs from conquered wonders too?

You get GP points from conquered wonders - just not culture.

For a great example of this, play the Earth 1000 scenario sometime as one of the European Powers (Britain, France, Holy Roman Empire). Take your troops that are near Jerusalem for the Crusade, and send them down to Cairo instead. Grab Cairo. Now you've got the Pyramids, and a great start on a GP farm.
