Am I doing something wrong?

I've seen a few threads where people have mentioned have problems downloading units. However, my problem is in uploading them. I'm trying to upload my new Knight unit, but it cancels the upload and tells me "Maximum Upload Limit Reached." The file size was 800kb, under the limit, and I'm scratching my head as to why it won't let me upload it.

Any help?

Uh... are you using the CFC database or Easy Upload?

I know I could Easy upload just fine, but I'd like to upload it to the database.

btw I have noticed before that there is an easy upload and a database but what is the difference between them when uploading stuff?

They are separate databases

CFC Database - unlimited uploading. Used primarily for permanent uploads (units, mods, etc.)

Easy Upload - limited amount of upload capacity. Used primarily for temporary uploads (previews, files sent via PM, etc.)

At least that is my understanding of it.

Yes, that's right. I don't know why you might be having difficulties. Some of those associated with downloading things are apparently caused by download managers. I don't suppose it could be something like that?

I haven't changed anything (at least knowingly), and have been able to upload to the Database before. But I'll go ahead and try to shut down a couple of things and see what happens.

the ninja was accepted in the database and I also decided to add my thug in database and it was accpeted rigth away....

so maybe try it now Olorin?

I tried it when I re-uploaded my Knight, but it still wasn't working.

Check under "my account->attachments", you may have
reached your 20 MByte limit.

Why would that affect my ability to upload to the CFC Database? I'm not at it anyway.

No, that wouldn't have any effect on the database uploads.
