New Unit: Polynesian Swordsman(8/4/07)

Badly needed unit for Polynesia, and trust me, this won't be the last. I will revisit this later with two new animations but for now heres the unit download in its entirety. Now includes shadows! A big thanks goes to Vuldacon for helping me out there.

Its great, just like I said in the preview thread. The animations work nicely and I finaly saw the pedia pic

PS - the preview in your 1st post doesn`t work anymore? :hmm:

Its because Photobucket(where my images come from), is having site maintenace. The civilipedia pick above is from the downloads section of this site.

The shadows turned on played havok with the appearence of the unit, causing the headress to turn completely black, among other things, it was either a shadow or a good looking unit...

Sword_Of_Geddon... Looks Very Good, I like his Feathers and Shield.
Ground Shadows can be rendered and added separately to the existing Storyboards if you want to add shadows.

Hm.. go to the materials room and fiddle with the shadows and materials. You can probably fix that,

He definately needs the shadows, lad. With all of those feathers about, he could easily be lifted up (and appears to be) above city level!

Otherwise, you are definately getting better and better with your unit design and flow! :goodjob:

You know, it would have been nice to have tribal colors.
They are always a problem for every unit creator. But, they add a lot to how well a unit works in game.

I listed some possibilities in the preview thread.
