Destroy building/abandon city mod

I am trying to find a BTS version of the destroy building/abandon city mod. I found the vanilla one here, and took the parts that were tagged as being changed and put them into the CvEventManager.py for BTS. Than when I press ctrl+d in one of my cities, I hear the sound popups make when they open, but it didn't show up.

Any advice on this would be great, thank you.
