Comparing a girl to Civ

Okay so this girl I know, she basically reminds me of when I wasn't very good at the harder difficulty levels in Civ..

The AI would discover new technologies and trade really, really quickly, almost to the point where I was like frustrated (how the hell did they do that?)..

This girl discovers and meets new guys at my school, including people in grades above and below her, really, really quickly, to the point where I'm frustrated (how the hell does she do that?)..

Anyway, me and her have had a thing for eachother for the longest time, and if she didn't have this quality to her, she would be almost perfect. But she just knows too many guys and it's ridiculous. We've tried to have a relationship before, but she's afraid to because she is obviously afraid of hurting me because of the mass quantity of guys that she would have available to cheat (on me or any other boyfriend that she would have) with.

If only she didn't have this 'problem' of knowing too many dudes, she would be perfect I think.

Sorry, I just needed to vent..

The Girl has to have food, hygean, and bathroom needs. May as well install thoes things in the basement ;).
 
is she a civ 3 ai or civ 4 ai? if former, then gift her enough of random trinkets lying about your house, then secure ROP + MPP
 
Well, in civ, you would try to trade with the AIs that that AI was trading with before that AI could trade with those AIs.

Somehow I don't think you'd want to do that here though.
 
Does she think she'd cheat or are you just really jealous? Have you talked about it with her? Has she said she's afraid of getting involved with you? Has she said why?
 
Maybe you should lower your expectations and take up with a starter tech girl that everybody has already had and moved on from.
 
Turn off tech-trading, or use WorldBuilder.
 
Ask her if she wants to trade world maps.

going on a civ forum with girl problems is bad enough

then using civ as an analogy = state of the thread right now

maybe you're thinking of the guys she knows too negatively. if she really cares about you then she'd resist any temptation to cheat.

It could be worse. He could compare to a car. I've got a million and one of those.
 
Go to her house with some rice, corn, wheat, sugar, bananas, steak, bacon, lamb chops, dye, clams, fish and crabs (maybe not crabs actually). Offer to trade them for her beaver.

apparently, you've got the confidence, but you need to learn to be a risktaker. if she's screwing around with other guys then she isn't worth your time.
 
Turn off culture flipping, but that will be cheating...

refine ur culture...and in the same time invade easier target and undefended cities...
 
Drop all the Civ comparisons and talk to her. If you really want her. Tell her what you want. If she is really interested, there should be no problem.
