this unit was made for NikNak93 and Bakuel for the BUG project. it is my idea of a true french cuirassier (i never know if i am spelling that right  )

DOWNLOAD

this is the first of several european cuirassiers.....

Do the German Cuirassier next!

the one on the left is early to mid 19th Century, the spiked helmet is more late 19th C (i think) but SPIKED lobster it is!!!, in any case, i will use the other design (definitively russian, dutch perhaps...)

A lot of the Curriaser and Cavalry units seem to blend into one another... hard to tell if one should use a unit for Curriaser or Cavalry (for instance, the same French Uniform seems to be used for both... at least on this forum).

I am really bugged using the obviously American Cavalry unit for so many European armies... so anything in the European Curriaser/Cavalry department helps.

check out my dragoons, i use the green french cavalry uniform :)

Nice, but the Fleur de Lys for a Napoleonic cuirassier may be a bit to much

u r right!, i was so eager to post the unit, i forgot about the horse! :crazyeye: ( also, the colar which should be yellow) i'll fix and upload the frenchie when i post the others :D

This thread is 3 years old, and Bernie's link is dead.

I need a French Napoleonic Cuirassier unit for a mod and does anyone have a copy of Bernie's unit they can send me?

I think the reason the link is "dead" is because he actually released a pack that has a bunch of European cuirassiers in it (thus making the individual French cuirassier download pointless). I have recently downloaded it, so it should still work. I think Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Russia, France and Germany are included. I don't have a link, but it is either in the Renaissance or Industrial unit section in the database.
