I think I'm likely screwed here as no one has posted this problem. I try to reach 2k games, wait for 40 minutes in the waiting queue and then the call disconnects.
Anyway, I just bought Civ 4: Gold. I insert disc 1 to begin the install. After going through the first disc of install, it requests disc 2. I open up the DVD-ROM, and replace Disc 1 with Disc 2 (which it is requesting). It auto runs, but nothing happens. Anyway, I hit the ok button to confirm the new disk is in the drive. It starts spinning, the screen freezes, and I get the message "Drive D: Not Responding". I can't even end task. It forces me to restart the computer. I can manually open Disc 2 and it is a read me file. I double click and nothing happens.
I have played plenty of other games without issue. I have a 1.8 dual Pentium 4, 512 Radeon Graphics card, and anything else I might need. Thoughts?
