[BtS] Menagerie (all UUs)

What happens when unique units aren't unique? This is a good way to see all the various UUs that exist working together in action -- both for the player and the AI. That is, all UUs are enabled for all civilizations. There is no new content in this mod. It is simply a modification to the existing BtS functionality to allow every civilization access to every UU throughout the game. Arguing about vultures vs. dog soldiers or samurai vs. berserkers? Allow both and see which you use more. And see which the AI uses.

This is a very simple mod. Simply download the menagerie.zip file and extract it to your "My Documents/My Games/Firaxis Games/Beyond the Sword/MODS/" (I'm pretty sure) folder. It will expand into the necessary folders.

Known Issues:

- UU lists overwhelm Sid's tips.
- Certain units (with multiple UUs) are listed multiple times in bonus fields, although they still calculate properly. This was done to allow the various UUs to all be simultaneously allowed.

Gonna try it after my current game. Nice idea.

I'm thinking Skirmishers early on, then Vultures, no Phalanx, then Preats supported by Numidian cavalry and Hwachas, then Cataphracts,Oromos, Redcoats.. the mind boggles.

A lot will depend on the AI's take on it. Have you had any results yet with your testing ??

Yeah, the AI isn't so predictable. One game, religions took forever, so I thought maybe the AI was lost. But that didn't repeat. They like vultures and praets, of course. The AI uses hills as determinations (I think) for skirmisher vs. bowman. Very few gallics and jags (except from the metalless ones). But I've not played it enough to know exactly what the AI's doing. It seems to play about its normal level, though.

I just tried Prince level ,unrestricted leaders just to make it even more of a menagerie.

Montezuma of Native America put a stack of Gallic warriors and Skirmishers together to DoW me and take my capital after 50 or so turns. Ouch.

Next time I have to do that first to him.
