Hello all! been a minute since i made a unit submission ;)

this one was requested by asioasioasio and chuggy :)

this one is a generic unit that is based on the paratrooper from BtS and the marine unit. it uses paratrooper animations (included)
feel free to reskin and reequip just remember to give me the credit im due :)

also, expect to see one or two more new paratroopers soon :D

That would be fantastic if you could get the Fallshirmjaeger to animate with the paradrop chutes.

the animations are the standard ones, but they are included in this download, in the unit's folder for simplicity and ease of installation :)
theres nothing custom about the animations, just the .nif files :)

asio told me you wanted the AT troop with paradrop ani. i forgot and made this one, but i will try to make it later (when i have some time). i used the sceneviewer aka nif viewer method to make this unit :)
 
I'm anxiously awaiting the update to the Fallshirmjaeger... been wanting those guys to paradrop for a long time!
 
i think asioasioasio was gonna make him, but i plan on reanimating the AT infantry to paradrop, and that would look exactly like a NAZI with a parachute ;)
 
so did you use blender, then nifskope, then nifviewer, like the C.Roland method?

I used max, then I tried the sceneviewer and the nifskope methods, I also tried to doing it to an unmodified AT Infantry and got the same result lol.
 
Yeah i'm working on it :) I learn a little bit since i made fallshirmjaeger so he should be slightly better :) (i don't want to promise anything but he would have longer coat and more fallshirmjaeger helmet.
 
yeah, im not much into max editing. i havent messed with that in almost a year :(

i just do this:
i add both .nifs to the nifviewer, and drag stuff into one nif, remove the marine nif thats empty, then drag all the bones over to the paratrpr nif. then i remove the paratrpr and leave the marine mesh :)

i know there is a great tut somewhere...
 
Garret, what do you think of a sci-fi unit with the paradrop animation but without any parachute shown ("anti-gravity belt" or something CtP-like ...) ? It's not a request as I don't plan to go that far ; just an idea that popped out of my mind.
