Iowa Class BB

Requested for different WWII scenarios. The name is self-explanatory I guess.
It uses the Battleships animations.

Thanks to asioasioasio for his help with certain aspects, and to Firaxis because I only used a slightly modified version of their default battleship for the texture..

This certainly may look like the default battleship, mainly because the default battleship was styled off the Iowa, though there is differences.

Now I just need to wait for Wolfshanze to come and tell me all I missed. :lol:

The Iowa is the bottom ship on the left and the bottom one on the right.

Hehe... no... I wouldn't do that... I might say it might be the least-needed model, seeing as how Firaxis obviously modeled the default BB after the Iowa, and to the untrained eye, there's very little differance.

Maybe scarce design-time could be better-spent on more needed models like a proper U-Boat or something... ahem... cough, cough.

Having said all that... I think your model looks nothing like the USS Iowa...

Now if you actually made a USS Iowa model (Pre-Dreadnought), that would be something we could use.

Haha, VERY funny, don't you see the smokestacks? They are both round!

I do understand it was not really needed, but hey, it was fun doing it, and there is also a lot of trained eyes abounding also.. And yes, yes, yes, u-boats will come.. I better put one on my list so I will remember though, any specific model?

Gauis, wow, that image is something else. I can hardly wait to try that scenario..

The U-Boat Type VIIC is the most ubiquitous U-Boat of the German navy and would make a fine example... unlike that default Firaxis Sub which really needs to lay-off the fatty foods.

Sorry for all the teasers, most of the shots I show are works in progress. The U-31 is for the WW1 mod, and is a model only - it'll getting custom animations and sounds. The other stuff, well, it's not all 100% done. I do try and post what I can, but I've been traveling a lot and work is busy. I'll try and get some more out today.
