The title says it all really, here we have a list of pretty much every unit with its own artwork. I've ignored religious units, ships and barbarians, as well as civic-specific units like Royal Guard. Recolours have been included in the 'done' pile for now, unless they are heroes. The alignment-specific units are included if the civ in question has a leader of that alignment.

I am busy helping out Smitty with the WW1 mod: Blood and Iron, creating all the Infantry. As I am enjoying that as a welcome break from fantasy units, it will take some weeks until I continue on FfH stuff. Here we have a lot left, but we will keep our promise of quality and quantity at the same time ;)

Good job man! Why not sticky this list or copy and past all the lists in the FfH2 Art Team Blog, it's a really interesting read to understand how much is left graphically.

yea, ideally we want every unit to be unique (the art). we have enough Ideas and skills to do that, only limit is time :/
 
They are planning to have unique graphics for every unit, and UUs for many but not all of them.

so are you all planning on having a unique unit for every nation for every unit? or will some civs just keep the origionals for a few units in the final cut?

well, my intention is to have all civilizations ALL UNITS UNIQUE.
Right now I normally do some units of one civ (mostly melee), before I go on to another Civ.
But I am considering doing eventually the lower tier units of all civs first (well at least for those civs which I am responsible for), so you get a distinctive start.
But this will take time ;)

I hope you dont have anything against it?

BTW, can anyone on the mod team tell me if the Centaur Guard is going to be a replacement for the War Chariot, a Unique Unit, or something different?
 
It sounds to me like a replacement for the Royal Guard, the national unit that is availible only with the Aristocracy civic.
 
From the Bug Thread...

These are things that I`m hoping to see before too long. I know Se Zereth is working on Khazad cannons, but we also need cannons for the other Civs that can use them (all except Calabim, Clan of Embers, Doviello, Hippus, Ljosalfar and Svartalfar). Changing those Napoleonic cannon units is a priority for a fantasy mod I think, and it would be good to see some new Civ-specific flavour in these units.

I don't think the cannons are as high priority as some of the other units. Making sure everyone has tiers 1 & 2 completed, finishing off the orcs, elves and dwarves, and giving Elohim, Grigori, Kuriotates and Calabim more units to play with would be more important to me. But then again, some of the civilisations (Infernals come particularly to mind) could benefit immensely from a unique siege line.

Now I've got your attention, I think the last few posts in the art team blog thread are turning it into a 'unit request' thread. Rather than clog up the art team blog with requests for units, how about we use this old thread?

Personally the units I'd most like to see once the current lot are completed are an Archmage for the Clan of Embers, and some new units for the Balseraphs (Adept, Mimic, Horseman etc.).

Anyone have any other suggestions?
 
Naturally, I always want to see new Balseraph units. I'd love to have a Cirque Du Soleil-esque model used for their Adept/Archmage.
