Introduction
Based on the Fourteen Points, the League of Nations was created by the Fourteenth Point. The headquarters are located in Moscow. It was created in the year 1927.

Constitution

Preamble

Article One. The League of Nations is designed to serve as a location from which the nations of the world can bring up issues of concern and mediate disputes and/or conflicts across the world.

Section One: The League of Nations General Assembly

Article One. The League of Nations General Assembly consists of all the representatives of all nations choosing to be a part of the League of Nations.

Article Two. Any nation in the General Assembly has the power to submit resolutions. Resolutions will take the form of XXX-YY, with XXX being the number and YY being the year. For example, the very first resolution ever would be 001-27.

Article Three. If a simple majority is reached on the resolution, then the resolution passes to the League of Nations Security Council.

Section Two: The League of Nations Security Council

Article One: The League of Nations Security Council consists of seven nations.

Article Two: Three of the nations have permanent seats on the Security Council. These are the nations of Great Britain, Russia, and UCSA.

CONSIDERING that the Constitution is vague on what exactly defines a country,

Resolves:

That an amendment be made to the Constitution stating that legitimate government be any nation that has its sovereignty recognized by 2/3 of the General Assembly.

Furthermore, it must have had stable control over its territory for three years.

Lastly, a nation may release nations via treaties by granting independence to parts of itself.

I thought maybe I'd reserve this, just in case. 8)

Post and enjoy yourself.

The Kingdom of Spain would like to join the league of nations

A Lowland diplomat stormed through the door and proclaimed

"Since the treaties of Vienna, our frontiers have been ill-designed for a healthy body politic. Not through speeches and majority decisions will the great questions of the day be decided - that was the great mistake of 1848 and 1849 - but by iron and blood. "

Then he stormed back out and back to Amsterdam.

Russia's in the League, of course.

One of the prerequisites before joining the League, in Russia's opinion, is ratification of the Fourteen Points, as the formation of this League is in response to the fourteenth point.

In fact Russia moves to make the 14 points the basic constitution of the League.

The Boer Republic believes that the constitution of this League should be placed in the first post.

Vietnam will join the League
Korea will join the League
Cuba will join the League
Albania will not join
Bosnia will not join
Somalia will join
Hawaii will not join
Tibet will join

We don't really have one.

I'll go make one up really fast. 8)

Edit: All right, I made one up. Please feel free to change the constitution around. I'm not too good with legal mumbo-jumbo.

OOC: Great Britain decided not to join the League of Nations. :p
Neither is the Lowlands. So the next closest candidate would be Germany, if Justo chooses to join. :p

what is the format for resolutions?

James Bedford is the ambassador to Russia, if you have any questions concerning Great Britains involvements with the League of Nations please direct it to him. And he will give you our answer as soon as he can.

Note this is not saying the Great Britain is in the League of Nations, I am just saying that if you have any problems or questions he is the one person qualified to answer your questions about the League of Nations and Great Britain.

If nations are tentative upon joining we will grant them observer's status. *looks at Britain. :p*

If you're going to hang around here, we will grant your observer status like it or not.

Format for resolutions? We could just use the real life UN model. Look at EQ's TWTUD United Nations thread and get some examples.

As an observer, UCSA would like to ask:

If there is a rogue nation, or even multiple in secret alliance, how will League of Nation stop their aggression?

That's a good question.

Russia envisions a League where a resolution will be passed calling for a coalition of forces made of League members to do peacekeeping missions around the world.

Russia has purposely kept the constitution vague. Resolutions may be made to alter the constitution.

Furthermore with UCSA and Britain not joining it behooves the world to choose the two other permanent seats.

Hawaii and Bosnia would like to become observers

Very well, then. UCSA will join the League of Nations.
