Scythian Half Cataphract

Something a little different this time. A half Cataphract! :lol:

The Skuda Uaezdaettae, or Scythian Nobles, fight in a matter almost more similar to the Greeks than their nomadic ancestors, preferring the xyston or spear and sword to archery, even though they still carry composite bows. Equipped with a fine lynothorax reinforced with metal scales, long pteryges and a Greek style bronze helmet.

awesome textures. there is a way to increase detail if you want. increase the size of the texture file (tga or dds) but in blender go to UV faces mode then on the far left where the # is click that and go to UV mapping and select all and increase the polygons to match the textures. this is also how you can change what polygons map to on a file.

Actually overall I am happy with the detail on the units. But i will look into that method for future units *Cough* Hypaspistai *Cough* :lol:

Hmm, then perhaps he should be renamed "Roxolani Cavalry"? The Scythians and Sarmatians didn't really take kindly to each other, if you know what I mean.

True enough. But you forget in EBCIV there will be an entire EDU of sweet horse crazed steppe warriors four you to play with from the Aorsi to the Roxolani and everything inbetween.
