well, its actually slightly less than half made (around 40% of my original expectations)

..... it needs a little more work than just a scenario, but your about right Caleb.
I'd be glad to have any additional help, I've been working on it mostly all on my own for over a year now, on and off.
I checked out your scenario El Hidalgo. It is surprisingly good for only a WBS file
A few things to note; The confederacy will be bankrupt and units on strike if your not producing gold fairly soon into the game. I can just foresee the AI messing up their economy and ruining the game fairly soon like this.
You should note that it should only be played on epic or marathon speed, because any faster and you will lose the effect your going for.
The confederates actually start the game more powerful than the union. This is incorrect. My first game I started as them (playing on prince level), and had easily pushed through washington, gettysburg, philadelphia, within a few turns.
Also the naval balance is incorrect. Look up the Anaconda plan. While on land, the confederates were not far behind the union, in naval power they were completely out classed, and should have to turn to unconventional methods to deter the union navy. (perhaps your only solution is giving them some smaller, lighter ships, and 1 ironclad, while the union should have several ships of the line, frigates, and at least 1 more ironclad than the confederates have. See Cotton Diplomacy)
maybe some other things I forgot, but its pretty good. I enjoyed it.

If you would like to work on the American Civil War mod with me, just give me a shout
