Chieftain
This game was played as Turkey, Rhye's and Fall of Civilization BTS, on Viceroy diificulty. I already won historically, but I'm also trying to conquer the world too.
And just ask if you want this divided into mroe paragraphs for easier reading.
It all began in 1290. The Eastern Roman Empire was on the verge of collapse, with Arabia on one side, and Germans on the other. Without warning, the tribes of Anatolia grouped together, and formed a rather large army. Armed with new weapons such as cannons, the Turks took Constantinople, which was only defended by a squad of Longbowmen. After Constantinoples fall (It would be re-named Istanbul), the rest of the empire went with it. Cities like Iconium (Konya), Trebizond (Trepezus?), and Alexandretta (Iskenderun) joined the Turks. With an even larger army, The Sultan sent out his armies to conquer Athenae. It surprisingly held out a unheard of one turn. Athenae (Atina now) was a part of Turkey. In Mesopotamia, Mosul was founded, right on the Arabian doorstep. In a few hundred years, this would become one of the greatest cities of Turkey. In Europe, Germany became wary of the rapidly expanding Turks. In a foolish move, they declared war on Turkey. Russia took the opportunity and declared war on Germany itself. Facing the might of Turkey and Russia at once, cities like Split (Dyrac), Budapest, Lemberg, Konigsburg (Kalingrad), Rom, and Hamburg (Hamborg) fell. Late in the war, the Dutch joined, explaining why Hamburg was taken. Berlin was independent for some time, before being annexed by the Dutch.
Now, with Turkish ambitions content, the new nation improved its interior, bolstering defenses, improving land, and securing security. But, as luck would have it, Arabia was in the hands of a n00bish leader, one who proceeded to attack Turkey out of the blue. To make a short story shorter, Janissaries pwned Macemen. Cairo, Mekke, Sana, Ad Daman, Shiraz, Samarqand, and Muscat, all fell shortly. In the Chaos, Persia arose from the ashes, claiming the city of Merv. With a baby boom at the end of the short war, the Sultan sent many settles to settle the Nile River, Somaliland, and Cape Horn. The goal of Cape Horn was to compete with the Spanish for no reason. After the establishment of these colonies, Rome arose in Marseille and Milan. (These names are different in the game but I cant remember what they are). Ironically, they didnt have Rome itself. Turkey expanded along Africa in the meantime, vassalizing Rome as an impulse. France, losing a war with the Spanish, was also vassalized. Turkey took back Bordeaux for the French, and took Valencia as a little treat. This city would remain a foothold in the Iberian Peninsula for a long time. In the East, Turkey vassalized China, because China is cool, and sent large amounts of supplies to help combat the Mongols. War broke out again between Turkey (including France, Rome, and China), and Spain (Including Aztecs, Inca, Maya, and Mali). By now, times had advanced enough that Turkey had tanks, bombers, and artillery, while Spain and her vassals still had Calvary, airships, and cannons. Spain was crushed, leading to their collapse, and the Inca collapse, and Turkey gobbled up Iberia (excluding Portugal), and Spains former South American holdings. The Inca territories are still resisting to this day, thanks to poor garrisons in South America.
Back to the East. Mongolia had collapsed after the loss of several cities to China, and Turkey cleaned up the rest, expanding their Empire into Siberia. A common Turkish (unofficial) motto is From Morocco to Siberia, from Tanzania to Poland. The South American colonies are still not officially recognized. Soon, England and Japan declared war on Turkey, and both being island nations, they drove themselves to a stalemate. A cease-fire was reached with England, but Japan fights on. The country is still under Naval siege, with funny incidents of Frigates running right into Attack Submarines. Today, the only nations that could effectively fight Turkey are Russia and America, but neither are willing to help each other. As Turkey expands north into Peru, and south into the Congo, other colonial powers, like the Netherlands and Portugal, seem to be gearing up for war. But Turkey never loses.
Let me remind you: THIS IS A SHORT STORY. I will elaborate as it goes on, and if anyone cares, but my computer can barely run this game, it's so big.
