Just like the previous one for Protective (except the thread title contained the word "Civs" instead of "Leaders"...it's now "Leaders").

As before (with Protective), vote for the 3 Aggressive leaders you think are the most powerful (assuming that you are playing the leader)...

I voted for the AI tht have consistently been the more difficult Aggressive adversaries for me.

Shaka
Tokugawa
Kublai Khan

Shaka
Hammurabi
Kublai

Hell, I would go to war with any of them. I did vote for

Ghengis because of synergy of the IMperialistic trait and the military UB

Big Al because of Philosophical and a stronge SE

Hammarabi because of the massive affordable empire with the ORG trait.

But all really work well. Monty is a favorite of mine since I always play MArathon I can't get enough of those 15 turn whips from the UB! SHaka is nuts too with that UB.

#1 - Ragnar

Financial is the best trait in the game, and is always helpful whether you're at war or not. Good UU, but bad UB.

#2 - Hammurabi

Organized gets better as the size of your empire increases. It lets you expand without having your economy tank, and makes running high cost civics like police state easier. Bad UU, good UB. Overall he probably has the 2nd best economy after Ragnar.

#3 - Boudica - no economy to speak of, but aggressive and charismatic melee units are just beasts. Beeline the military techs and just overwhelm your opponents by having more land than them and tons of well promoted units.

Boudica

I value Charismatic the most and it has great synergy with Aggressive.

Ragnar

Good for recovering from early rush.

Montezuma

Ridiculous whipping and drafting power.

#1 Shaka when he starts right next to me: Because he always DoW and ruins my plans.
#2 Shaka when he starts on the other side of the continent: Because he vassalises everyone and has a huge empire...then he DoW's me and ruins my plans
#3 Shaka on another continent because when we meet he is a huge beast of an empire with gobs of vassals...then he Dow's me and ruins my plans.

Worst Agg leader...Me as Shaka.Apparantly the most successful way to be Shaka is to DoW on me...and I can't if I am Shaka.

1st Montezuma
2nd Alexander
3rd Ragnar

Now, that's a strong statement...although Montezuma hasn't got many votes so far, he's being named as a strong leader in this thread.

We had a discussion recently about the UU, the Jaguar, and the conclusion was that having the Jaguar is an overall plus for the Aztecs.

The UB is generally regarded as a good one, although not many threads on the forum discussed about it.

I might try a game myself with this leader to see for myself.

I went for Shaka, Alexander and Ghengis. No science behind that, they are just the ones that give me the most trouble on average.

I would more often prefer to have a regular swordsman but Monty as a leader still rules bc of his traits and ub combo.

Ghenghis ...fastest ever win, and worth at least a level. Surprised that he and montezuma are not in the lead.

I agree, nothing beats constant burning, pillaging, conquesting than good old Ghengis!

oops, I voted for Genghis when I meant Kublai... Creative + Aggressive is fantastic early on... Creative is useful for a variety of reasons.

I picked
Shaka
Ragnar
Kublai

Ragnar is better for a medieval or long-term win since it is easier to have tech lead along with military lead, Shaka is best for all out destruction and very quick rush with str+shock/cover units, and Kublai Khan is just nice and versatile, with both mounted and melee units being strong, and the flexible creative trait.

Boudica (who also has a military related trait) and Rangar (as previously said, financial is always nice). Since OP insisted on 3, I picked someone named Stalin too...

Boudica, Stalin and Ragnar would be my choices. All 3 have useful traits, and great units at the time they are present. The UBs are very situational, but the UUs make up for them I think.
