Here are all the civilizations which I forgot to include in the last post. Please cast your votes again.

Moderators, please delete the other threads.

you could have the Yugoslavs in, it wouldnt neccesarily have to represent the country yugoslavia, it means South Slavs so it would cover the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria

Minoans where pre-Greeks
I think Armenia should be on they where a big country at times and had some impact on their region plus they where the first adopt Christianity as state religion.

Seems like Moors/Morocco are more popular than Berbers/Maghreb, though they have a lot in common. Anyway, they are a more worthy inhabitant of Northern Africa than Carthage is.

I voted for the Moors, Franks, Burmese, Songhai, Tibetans. I accidentally didn't vote for the Libyans.

I wouldn't mind Armenia, Hawaii, Bulgaria, Scythia or Minoa, but I didn't vote for them.

Why exactly did Scotland get so many votes? And why are the Roma and Cree even options?

And why are the Roma and the Cree even options?
Hey, Civ2 had the Sioux, Civ3 had the Iroquois, and Civ4 had generic Native Americans (ugh). Why can't civ5 have the Cree, considering that their culture covered a large part of what is now Canada? I have no clue about the Roma though.

I haven't read the forum too closely but i put my vote on the Sami people that still today are present in northen Scandinavia and Cola peninsula. Historically they covered areas larger than that back in time.
They still protect their own culture and language since several 1000 years back in time.
Sami people was mainly hunters and their trading network was adopted based on the situation in Europe and Asia.

I think Switzerland should be in, but with Tokugawa's personality.

If Scotland's going to be in, why not Ireland? Though generic Gaels would be interesting.

Honestly, what exactly did Tibet DO to get featured? 9 votes seems to be a little too much for a country that got famous only for being annexed by China.

Well, they ruled a large portion of what is now not part of Tibet anymore. The Tibetan Empire was actually fairly sizable.

With all civs represented in the 4 versions and multitudes of mods, don't need any more, probably have too many now. So, my vote is other, for none.

You can never have enough civilisations, I argue that more flavour is needed. Besides, a lot of modded leaderheads are just clones.

It may be a lack of historic knowledge, but aren't gypsies those people that ride around in wagons and tell fortunes?

Seems like Tibet is a great wildcard here.

Hawaii isn't a country... it's American.

Hawaii used to be a country.

As for Tibet, see Elam/Australia/Hittites/Bulgars/Magyars/Assyria. Also Moors/Chola/Akkad/Nubia... and Cuba, for that matter. After all, Cuba nearly destroyed the world ;).

So, yes, there are many civilizations that deserve to be in a Civ game not in one yet. Tibet is not one of them.

This is turning up pretty interesting. Scotland and Maroc? Unusual. Both had historical significance, however, so it is plausible...
