Sour cream and pancakes (with real maple syrup) make up one of the greatest breakfast pleasures in Perfection's life.

I have but one dillemma, I can't for the life of me convince other people to try it!

Short of force-feeding, blackmail, and other unethical behavior how can I help people experience this joy?

And don't react with EWWWW or anything because you are WRONG, they are delicious.

Convince people to come to #fiftychat, where you can describe their yummyness in great detail.
 
It's not working, Cheezy! The whole thread was because of my failure to convince someone who shall not be named to go to a wonderful restaraunt I know that has awesome pancakes and put sour cream on it via #fiftychat PMs.
 
I was already convinced of sour cream goodness; the next time I have pancakes, I'm going to try this, as previously discussed in #fiftychat.
 
Start them off on potato pancakes, which naturally go with sour cream. That'll learn 'em to be less wary of sour cream and pancakes in general. Then they'll be more susceptible to convincin'.
 
Sorry Perf, but I have this sneaking suspicion that you're just trying to get people to try this, so you can laugh at them for being convinced to do something silly by some guy on the internet. Maybe you guys have just made me paranoid. ;)
 
I could swear that IHOP puts sour cream on some of their pancakes. I thought for sure I ate some kind of pancake thing there with sour cream and blueberrys years ago I think (heh, I have been to IHOP maybe once in the last three years). But I do remember it was very, very good. Plus it makes sense. I love sour cream on bagles....so why not a pancake?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of cream cheese? I know that IHOP did a stuffed french toast with blueberries, where the stuffing was this sortof whipped cream cheese stuff...
