Celtic Green Knight

This is a green reskin of the blue Breton Knight from Bernie14 that is commonly found in many mods for the Celts. I believe a "Green Knight" version is fitting for the Celts, because in my narrow mind I can't think of the Celts using anything other then green.

I originally found the blue Breton Knight in a few mods, but not on the forum, I eventually discovered the credit goes to Bernie14... I believe the base models of the mounted templar and paladin come from rabbit W and sezereth. Just making sure folks know I didn't design this sucker at all... I just changed it from blue to green, but thought others might enjoy it either for the Celts or for some other purpose.

v2.0 includes a 2nd Green Knight... the Celtic Cross Knight... you now have the choice of the Grail Knight or the Cross Knight.

Uses default Knight animations.

EDIT: Do you think you'll be doing the whole "set" like you did for Germany?

you know, archer/ crossbowman / longbowman / axeman etc. etc.

While I'd like to take credit, I really didn't do a whole lot here... somebody made a blue version of this knight, and I just "greened him up" (I put a lot more "creative" work into the German Tricolor Knight).

I've finally decided to get around to doing a set for the Celts in my mod, and I've been scrounging for source material... I like to pick and choose various things from the forum and other mods to suit my liking, and I kept stumbling upon this blue Breton Knight many used for the Celts... I liked the design but didn't like the fact it was bright blue, so (as I mentioned), I greened him up! My Celt set will be unique in-the-fact that it won't match anyone else's Celt set, but that's more due to mixing and matching units differently then really making anything new... at most the occasional reskin such as this unit can be expected... I'll probably put-out a Celtic Warlord tomorrow or something... maybe I'll even revisit this guy and do some different heraldry or something... but for now, I'm done for the day!

darn wolfie! u r beating me at my own game , the blue bretton was my design, (but do gotta give major creds to rabbitW and seZ, learned MUCH from those guys) i actually use him as the american knight ....i was about to post this guy (see thumb), but had not cuz i cant get a game screenshot now and he looks weird in nifskope....

BTW...the spearman in the bottom right corner....where is he from?

Okay... well, if you want to be the best, imitate the best! I never did find your Blue Breton Knight in any download section... it just kept coming up in various mods, so I had no idea it was yours (though I can see your "style" in the unit).

I wasn't feeling particularly creative yesterday, I was just putting-together some models to flavor-up my Celts (been incredibly lazy about doing the Celts... for some reason they never show-up in any of my games!). I kept running into multiple mods that had your blue Breton Knight for the Celts... I was like "well, I like the knight, but I don't like the color for Celts!"... so I just did a color conversion and turned him from blue to green... I imagine if I felt more creative I would have done some custom heraldry... which I may still do now that I'm awake again!

Anyways... once again, odd I'm drawn to your work Bernie... call me a big fan of yours. Oh, and the Spearman in the screenshot? It's Aranor's Celtic Noble Spearman... I'm using it for my Medieval Celt Spearman (I'm using Chugg's Ancient Spearman for the Celts too). I'm still working on the Celts today... I'll be putting out a Celt Warlord soon... will probably reskin the Knight too... dunno.

The Celtic Cross Green Knight is a variation of the Grail Green Knight... the lions on the horse skirt replaced by a Stag and Celtic cross... the Grail emblems have been replaced by a Celtic Cross.

This is awesome. Where is the blue version of this? This is exactly what I'm looking for to make a unique unit for my custom Civ but it's in the wrong colors. I'd like to have either a blue or red-ish color. (I'm using the standard light blue originaly assigned to greece and sometimes the Japanese Red for the team color. I've yet to learn how to incorperate custom colors, buttons, and flags properly.)

I must have this Knight for my custom civ!

PS: A search on "Breton Knight" came up empty with exception to this unit download.

Well, then I guess the search should point to the Blue Breton Knight Knight, eh?

Okay... here it is... I do believe this is Bernie's Blue Breton Knight... exactly the same as the Green Grail Knight above, just blue:
