I am running Civ III: Complete on Vista. Everything works great, but . . . I can't find my manual saves on My Computer. I want to delete the old Saves from games I am no longer playing. On XP I would go into the Program Files>Fixaris Games>Civ III>Conquests>Saves to delete the old ones. But where are they on Vista? Anyone know?

They should be here:

Hard Disk (C:/) > Users > [UserName] > AppData > Local > VirtualStore > Program Files(x86) > Firaxis Games > Civilization III Complete > Conquests > Saves

resurrecting this, I am currrently having the same problem (I run vista too). Apparently there are no saves folders in vista, which doesn't make sense...

go to

My Computer -> Local Disk (C:/) -> Program Files -> Atari -> Civilization III Complete -> Conquests -> Saves

once in saves, look at the top of the screen, and right below the back arrows and the file location bar, it has another list of options "Organize, Views, Burn, Compatibility Files"

click on Compatibility Files and the saves should pop up

It's OK, I fixed the problem...But there is no "Saves folder in the first place...But like I said it's ok. I figured it out. I just made a new "saves" fodler and stuck it in and now it works fine ;)

Yeah, in Vista apperantly the Program Files folder cannot be written to by applications. I don't know who thought that up.

It's not that. They put any type of save file or scenerio in the virtual store so two users could have a different set of saves
