Indian 2nd UHV Bug

Hi, I'm on holiday and I started back to play RFC. I have some troubles trying to REGISTER the 2nd Indian UHV; I actually was able to found Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam but as soon as I get Divine Right the UHV gets registered as NO Accomplished in the Victory screen.

Did anyone ever notice something similar? I have the latest patch (1.81 BtS, if I remember correctly). If you want I can try to upload the save file (at the moment, it's saved on a laptop I cannot connect to Internet and I lack USB-keys as well).

Are you sure that you are the first one to get Divine Right, maybe Arabia beat you to it.

Right after you get Divine Right, check if one of your holy cities is the Islamic HC.

I had that happen to me with 1.180, but not 1.181. Are you sure you don't have 1.180 instead?

It is surely so. I was also able to get DR about turn 130 (200AD ca.) but the UHV failed as well.

I noticed in the bug thread there are reported similar cases by other players. One also conjectured that by founding the 5 religions in the same city the UHV would not break, but I failed also trying this sort of "trick".

I downloaded the last version from Rhye's linked window on (about) July the 10th: three weeks ago. I guess it's 1.181, right? Anyway, I'll try.

That has never happened to me, the India UHV always registered correctly. It might be a rare bug or something. Try to load one of the earlier auto-saves to see if it will happen again. Also you could post a save so we can try to open it here (post it right before you get the DR so we can see if the UHV would register).

By updating BTS to 3.17 I could register the 2nd UHV but now I have problems with the last one, although I am sure of having the highest world population on 1200AD.

I have reported the problem in the proper bug thread, you will also find the save file from the year 1200AD.

You're right, I was confused by the count of the total citizens in 1200AD which is misleading, one should look at the demographics screen. Anyway, I finally won, thank you.

On the wiki Indian Strategy guide, there is an update for 1.81. On the tread that is referenced at the very end, you can find a screenshot with well developed India. The idea is to build as few cities as possible and let them grow as large as possibles, that gives you large population.
