'Fish pedicure' a feet treat

Thousands of people are apparently flocking to try the latest in spa pampering in the US.

The 'fish pedicure' in Washington DC involves tiny Garra Rufa fish nibbling away dead skin to leave feet soft and smooth.

All seems a bit fishy to me...

You know this was actually imported from Asia. You might want to remove it from your "Only in America" list.

The BBC sent a reporter all the way to America just for one silly kicker? :crazyeye:

Of course, but its more fun on this forum to poke fun an Americans. ;)

I would do that if I was rich. Doesn't sound super eco-friendly though. I wonder what they do with the fish afterwards. :hmm:

Yum. :yumyum: Reminds me of Fight Club (selling the women's nasty feet right back to them :D).

We don't talk about you know what!

Can't see anything wrong with it, nature tends to know what she's doing.

Same as how maggots can be tremendously useful in staving off infections in wounds.

No one took the bait? It seems fishy that this thread's hook is so catchy, especially with your pun thread going on.

 Are we going for pun density records now?

How big are the fish?

How big are the fish?

Saw it on the news a little bit back. They are quite tiny and have no teeth, IIRC. They can only eat the dead skin.

There are YouTube videos.

(click my link, was only trying to set up a joke)

Only in America would a guy assume something started in America that originated in Asia...

Only in America would a guy assume someone clearly British is American...
