I got some of this from the Civ Gold Team, the other graphics i got from Bakuel's new Aztecs, i already had some Aztec ones, so i just made this civ instead.

Ideas for changes or additions are always welcome.

Why in the world are you not using Ekmek's Napoleon-based Dom Pedro II instead of the old FDR with beard version? If you haven't seen it, you really ought to check it out and consider revising your mod.

Thx, i looked in the LH area, but i didnt go back far enough for the March area, its up now!!:p

This needs some good medieval-style units... those Aztec swordsmen, spearmen, knights, etc. just don't seem right for Brazil.

Should be close, here is an extract of the History:

History

Brazil is the only Latin American nation that derives its language and culture from Portugal. The native inhabitants mostly consisted of the nomadic Tupí-Guaraní Indians.
The Tupi people is one of the main ethnic groups of Brazilian indigenous people, together with the related Guaraní.
The Tupi people is a nation that inhabited almost all of Brazil's coast and the Amazon rainforest when the Portuguese first arrived there.

I'm just saying... do like your American pack and put in "fantasy" medieval units like you did.

That would seem better to me... Think America and not the Natives.

By the way, SA, when are you going to change your Israeli Leaderheads?

ahahaha:lol:, ok, you dont forget do ya, i will d/l the LH tonight, hows that, then maybe the leader tomorrow.;)

I agree with Madmanofaleader, you should have use something else besides aztec units. From what I know & the pics I have seen, the indigenous people weren't that fully dressed like the aztecs were made by Bakuel.

Maybe you should use berni14's tribal units. :)

Here's the problem with all this in South America, right now you have the Aztec's (already great units made), Inca (units made), Maya (units made), Toltec (units made), Mapuche (units made), and in the new mod i am making a combination of all in the civ South America itself.
Now that Bakuel made these other great Aztec units, had to place them some place.:crazyeye:
Plus there are Chile and Argentina left.
Just image doing this for the Country to the North, America, i dont think you'd come up with 48 different civs without overlapping alot of them.

But i am always up for anything anyone has better than me, just tell me where to look and where to put them and maybe i will do it, never know.:p
Ideas are ALWAYS welcome!!;)

EDIT: WOuld really like to hear from someone from South America, your ideas, options??

strategyonly you can PM me or check out my leaderhead gallery so people stop harassing you to add my LHs

by the way great work on all these modular civs

Sure dude. You really should use the portuguese as base form brazilian units. Even if the native had a great role on the formation of the country, brazilian civilization only starts with the independence of country or if you wanted, the merge of the portuguese with the natives (And after the africans). So, the Tupis, Guaranis, Jê, etc, were not Brazilians, they were another civilizations.

The native tribes that were stabilished (sp?) in the region were very different from the aztecs, incas or mayas. If you're interested you can look for yanomamis or tupi on google.

Oh, ok, now were getting someplace, thx for the info. So they were mainly nude up until 1960.

hello, strategyonly, nice initiative, I'm brazilian, maybe I can be of help. to keep it simple if you want to make it looks brazilian you should put a lot of africans and more europeans among the indians.

in my opinion, tupi/Guarani is good base for Brasilian's antic units, as they was in the country that time, and are still now...
Just need to take them off all thoses aztek clothes and tools
and add black/white people on the modern units for representing hte extrem mixity of that beautifull country!

I don't know, if one's stop thinking chronologically and starts thinking about the culture, will see no problem in adding europeans and africans ancient units to it so brasil is not the place but the people who lives in it. anyway it doesn't seens like it will be updated, ever, better do it yourself.
