United Arab Emirates + Middle East

This has some Middle East units included but for the main part is United Arab Emirates.
I am going to use this as a Middle East civ, like South America/Africa, rather than naming all the civs, just a somewhat combination of each.

You can't depict Muhammad at all... any depiction of Muhammad (especially in a game) will end up getting somebody killed! :scan:

(even if Muhammad is innocently returning your fish helmet)

I would really reccomend getting rid of Muhammad. One of the basic beliefs of Islam is no depiction of the prophet. It would be fairly easy to rename him to either Umar or Abu Bakr. They were each responsible for the early expansion of Islam and the pre-Ummayad Empire.

No. We know that Mohamad existed and it states in the Koran that :'On the day of rekoning image makers will be regarded as the worst.' I dont remember the exact wording though. Islam has let up a bit on that law, but they still regard any depictions of the prophet as blashphemy even if the image doesnt look like him.

About the Noah thing, the only time Christianity banned Icons was during the Iconosclasm during the reign of Irene (780-802) and a few Emperors in the Macedonian Dynasty.

EDIT: I really dont want to get into a post war. If you dont want to change the name that is fine, but I would reccomend changing it. Changing it would require editing only 8 lines of text. The TXT_KEY... and the text file.

I didnt mean it like that, i meant i dont believe that whole Noah thing is all, if you know what kind of boats they had, or lack of, they mainly only had boats that looked like rafts, logs with rope around them and hard clay inbetween, and some going upwards for the sides, thats what i meant, sorry for the misinterpretation. And if people dont like it, they can just delete him, but its only showing his eyes anyways. Oh well, but thx for writing, i like all comments.

Well back in the days when he was younger, he was "less" than perfect and had to look and act like a WarMonger, especially invading and killing people. And this way you can only see the eyes, which aren't too bad, as for the Spiritual, i did it for the earlier years, not the late years of his life. Plus i never seen a ninja in a Turban? Course i could be wrong.

Interesting, course he could of been with the pick the leader you want, and well d/l ing is your prerogative. I think the whole Jesus thing is blown out of proportion anyways. :rolleyes:

And i never take offense, unless they attack me personally. Like some do on CFC.

Actually IIRC, Muhammad didnt unify Arabia. After he died Arabia united under the second Caliph. This may be wrong, my knowledge of early Islam isnt the greatest.

just don't put Mohammed in the game, or else god know what will happen. Expecially coming from secular Turkey you might not want do that, just add the second caliph
